Sheriff Keys

    I think that you should get something for killing the sheriff besides their head, money, and other items that they had. I think that there should be a rare drop called the "Sherrif Key". This key would allow you to free someone else that has been handcuffed.
    I think that when you free someone, they can not be arrested for the next 3 minutes ( too long?), but both players (the one that was arrested and the one rescuing) would get a drastic increase in bounty and be on rogue for a while. Also, when you free someone, you can not be freed for 5 minutes.
    However, it will take 10 seconds to free, and you can be are arrested while doing it.

    I think this will make the game experience a little bit unique and add more gangster-like play styles for everyone, and might even make the sheriffs play differently too.

    Quite a nice little idea for a new forums member! I like this, it would make it more beneficial of killing sheriffs, and yes - as you mentioned - make it a rarer drop. But I like it :grinning:

    I had an idea for this. 1 Was when you get handcuffed you can type /resist to resist the arrest. The only thing about that is the sheriff can now shoot to kill. 2 Was when you get cuffed/inspected/ticketed and on the ticket screen you have a option to "break the cuffs" which has maybe a 50% chance or 25% chance at succeeding, If you do succeed, you'll be free without having to pay the ticket. If you fail you'll gain 2-3k more bounty. Now if you do break the cuffs and the sheriff is still around he can still cuff you again. Make sure he isn't around before you do it.

    This will give you at least a chance to get out of the cuffs and escape paying the bounty or going to prison.

    Now these numbers can be tinkered with to be fair and balanced as they are just suggesting a range for the % success.
