Any advice for a novice player (me) on Hardcore games?

You should make traps, but it depends, what kits do you have?

 

Soup or no soup? If soup, the only tip I can give to you is to practice your souping skills. KitBrawl isn't enough, you need a kitpvp server that offers refills and if possible, recrafts.

The first thing to do is increase your click speed. In general the faster you click the more times you hit someone, which can be a huge advantage in fights. The best tip I can give you for click speed is to try to click as fast as you can for the longest ammount of time. Do this when you are board or are reading a book. Take breaks and keep trying this for a few days. You should see a dramatic increase in your click speed. Secondly, you should update your Minecraft controls. Set your sensitivity to high and change your higher number keys (7, 8 and 9) if you can't reach them easily. Don't use the scroll wheel on the mouse when trying to switch to your items. Use the number keys. It will take time to learn how to press them fast but eventually it will save you time in a fight, most likely saving your life in the process. Thirdly, keep an organized inventory. Messing inventories will waste you time and will get you killed. Have a specific place of where your items go. For example, keep your sword in the 1 spot because it is the easiest and fastest key to press on your keyboard, and if you get in trouble you can easily switch to your sword in no time. Lastly, learn how to soup. Soup HG is a lot more fun and a lot easier to win once you master the art of souping. It will be challenging when you start but if you push through it it will be all worth it in the end. If you need help you can look up tutorials on YouTube or can pm me. Good luck

If you suck at PvP, there really is no way for you to win Hardkore Games other than through luck or traps. Many of the people on Hardcore Games are longtime PvPers, and they have the hours PvPing that you might not. So what you need to do then is just go on KitBrawl and practice. There really isn't a shortcut, other than buying yourself Google Fiber, a good computer, and a good mouse. But even then you still need to practice.

 

Honestly my man, Just practice everything, Especially, PVP. That's a major key. Now, Soup /or No Soup will determine how well your souping and pvping will be. Honestly, just stay at it. and one day you'll be great.

 

No one is great at something when they first try. It takes hard work and dedication. You'll get there. I look forward to versing you in the arena soon. Listen to these masters. They're very good at what they do. You can learn a lot from even just watching them.

 

Exactly, She's right, Just by watching them helps you, and one thing that helped me was facing people that were WAY better than me. So Maybe find a KITPVP Server on the side that has a RANKED arena, and just put work in.
