    I have asked these questions ingame and all I get are no responses and stupid answers. I would greatly appreciate these questions being answered. :smile:

    - What's the best mine?
    - Does bounty decrease while logged off?
    - What's the purpose of whisky (night vision potion) if the whole map is lit up?
    - What's the purpose of a lasso?

    -I believe there is no difference in mines, so that's opinion
    -No
    -For dark places like mines and other hidden spots
    -If you hit someone with a lasso, they get slowness, so it's used to catch up to someone

    There's not really a best mine, but the Rosebud Mine is the largest I believe.

    Lasso, is like a handcuff except you can pull them towards you.

    It's not really staff, it's average players. Like I said at the top, "All I get are no responses and stupid answers". For example, when I asked, "What's the best mine?" one guy said, "mine". :facepalm: I asked it another time, and another guy said, "weed". I know like what @RyanO2 said, "I believe there is no difference in mines, so that's opinion". So could they have at least given me their opinion! Geez! :banghead:

    Staff have a lot to do. They have to focus on moderating the forums, moderating teamspeak, moderating in-game, go through ban appeals, go through reports, report players, and lots more. No offense, I wouldn't expect them to be able to comment on every thread

    I'm sorry, I was unaware that you were asking opinions. To be honest, I really like Decker, as it's nice and small and you can get ores decently quickly

    A lasso is an item that I use to haul in naughty criminals who decided it was a good idea to turn and run away from me. The lasso has proven very effeective and rage inducing.

    The only explanation for that is, @RyanO2 is just too fast!

    On a serious note though, the chances are, he did reply to the thread as soon as the thread got posted so he probably just beat a staff member to it. Just to clear it up, his answers are right.

    (1) There are small differences such as the distance between town and mine and the amount of surface ores in each mine. I would say Decker Mine is the best because it is very close to Amarillo and has a huge amount of ores.
    (2) No.
    (3) Whiskey is a night vision potion, but when drinking it you get 10 seconds of resistance and not night vision.
    (4) If you catch someone with a lasso, they are slowed down. You can also pull them towards you.

    You know nothing about who didn't answer these questions nor the background, so it would be great if you couldn't just plainly flame at staff for no reason.

    Just walk to the mines and see which one you like. The forums guides have useful information, but unless a MOD/JMOD is on, no one is likely to tell you the answers to useful information. ie: IF there was a best mine, we wouldn't want to tell some noob.

    I have a question on Decker Mine. When in the large open area in the mine, how are you suppose to reach the ores high up on the walls?

    If you look carefully, there are very few "decorative" ores. Most can be reached and mined using a non-stone pickaxe and jumping.

    Once I saw some blocks of quartz in the ground instead of ores in some places. What did they mean?

    If you break the quartz, it will turn into cobble, and it will respawn as an Ore. I don't know why the quartz spawns.

    In fact all ores are originally quartz ores, that's how the plugin knows which blocks need to be replaced by breakable ores. Sometimes this replacing doesn't work which is the reason why they are quartz ores. Just break them and the block will respawn as a standard ore.

    I've compared Decker mine with Rosebud mine which is the second closest to a town (Shaniko), and imo, I find that Rosebud has more ore than Decker, maybe even way more.
