Should I be expecting this? Or... Is he busy?

    First off, I am not upset about this, just a bit confused is all.

    I am used to having people respond to threads at a maximum of 3 days. It has been 2 weeks since I have made my sheriff app. When I make help threads, or applications for things, should I be expecting a maximum of 2 weeks ti'll I get a reply? Is there a typical length of time someone has to wait before a response? Again, I'm not mad, just a bit confused.

    Depending on how busy staff can get, what's going on irl, or other outside factors out of our control it can take a while to answer back to sheriff application. Thank you for being patient. It means a lot and I'm sure you will be getting a response in the near future.

    Pretty much what Feather said. Plus, @Lord_Roke has a lot of things to do as a smod and there are quite a lot of sheriff applications coming in and just one staff member checking them. He'll eventually get to your application, your patience is very appreciated!

    It also depends whether the application is good and can get accepted right away or need a bit of time to see the opinions from other players and consider.

    Staff has let Wild West go dark for 3 days at a time. This morning its been dark for 5 hours already. Your sheriff app will be processed on pace with the way Staff here handle issues, i.e. Slowly.

    We do need more sheriffs, though. Often there are zero on.

    In the last 2 weeks I did my final exams, so I was slightly busy. I already went over the applications again recently and denied bad ones, more will be accepted soon.
