Why are you even making this thread? There's literally like 9000+ threads out there with the same topic....

 

Honestly I think the community is slowly healing.

In a way, it is.

If you've noticed, sure the amount of x-rayers has increased drastically. But booting isn't as bad as it used to be. There's only a few toxic teams out there, and a lot of the members of the team get "peer pressured" if you will. It's not that hard to fix WarZ.

Rules just need to be more strict, and there have to be worse punishments for those who break it.

I see on an hourly basis someone in the WarZ Community say "kys" and honestly, if people just used /chatreport, this community could increase INSANELY within a few months.


We could also use an increase in staff members for the main reason that @Wario, @Ripzy, and @_Cloudy_ / @Aboves can't do it all by themselves. 2/3 them rarely play, and the 3rd one is normally on at night.

 

Oh how one simple command can change anything... I feel like almost no one knows what the command is since there is no reminders as to "Hey, this command is very good in use of someone being a salt shaker". I don't play WarZ anymore but could you inform my ignorance on why the hell everyone is using 'kys' (I know what it means) and no one uses /chatreport?

 

We don't need more staff, i've realized. It's what the players do.

 

People say "kys" because their either mad that they died, they "think they're funny", or simply, they're just douches. The community is spiraling down, but it isn't that hard to bring it back up.

Barely any of the WarZ Community uses /chatreport because it's either:
A. Not a very well known command
B. The people saying the things in chat are their friends.
or
C. They simply don't care about the community and how it is going down.

The thing is, if we have more staff on WarZ, the amount of hackers (IMO) will decrease because there would be more staff members being able to watch people on multiple servers instead of just one.
And if we have more staff members, the amount of threats in chat could decrease as well because, again, there will be more staff members to monitor the servers.

In my opinion, WarZ needs at least 5 ACTIVE Moderators.

It might be hard to find staff who are willing to put up with the bull**** WarZ does (you would make a good staff member though c: ).
If more staff were to rise, the more risks of those certain staff members getting in trouble with the community members doing malicious things to deny X player of staff.
There's risks and rewards. All plays out on how the community will effect this entire thing.

 

Thanks for the compliment hahaha. I was thinking about it in the future. After I clean up my act and chill out and such.

But I agree. Honestly, WarZ needs staff members who obviously care about the community, but can deal with the things that are going to come to them. Such as harsh remarks, trash talking, threats, etc.

I don't get it, these threads don't solve anything. The Staff is very aware of the community's toxicity and is on daily trying to fix it. They understand, please just be patient. There is going to be bad phases in WarZ, hopefully it will get better, but for now, all we can do is play.

 

I know it's very easy to say that WarZ needs more staff, which is true, but not the biggest thing. Toxicity is a big issue, however, why do we play WarZ? Why do we play video games in general? We play them for enjoyment. If we restrict these members so much that they aren't enjoying playing, they'll leave. The amount of personal insults, put downs and such should be cut down, but we need to have a bit more of an understanding. A friend of mine once said, "they may be toxic here, but they sure act different once they're sitting with their mom eating a sandwich." We need to realize many things are said out of anger. Many of these problems arise when someone becomes the agresor over something small. The person on the recieving end becomes defensive, and things escalate. Just stop bein a nuisance, and stop taking so much offense as well. It's just a game. You dont need to completely brush off insults, and you don't need to be completely purged of toxicity, but make a concerted effort to understand this. Try to play the game, and keep it as simple as that.

 

Like somehow put the same rules in counter strike?

There is m4play which I think is generally better.

 

When players are always complaining about something. This fact creates "conflits" because others can be at loggerheads with you... Therefore, a chain reaction appears and everyone has a slanging match. This is what makes a bad community in my opinion.

The aim of the game is to survive, there will always be highs and lows, and a good player is able to stay calm even in these kinds of situations.

 

Hilarious to see people care.
