    The mind is my battlefield
    A mesh of confusion, delusion, illusion

    Each and every day an act
    An intricate dance, a stance, a trance

    I am an Icarus
    A being of light, fight and right

    Myself my own sun
    A glorious inferno, a tornado, a slideshow

    My wings burn around me
    An agony of assention, regression, confession

    Embrace my inferno
    My glorious dance

    Embrace my mind
    My battlefield

    Find me before I burn away


    Edit made seven minutes after posting:
    In this seven minute retrospect I think my teenage angst is fueling these obnoxiously heartfelt poems that no one really reads.
    Which is fine with me don't get me wrong. I'm honestly just babbling about what my brain feels like sometimes.

    I wake, reluctant;
    Too cold to get out of bed.
