Dates for Team & Servers Removal

Team System Removal​

From the result of the team removal poll, we have decided to go ahead and remove the /team system from MC-WarZ. The poll was about 70% for removing them and about 30% for keeping them (at the time of posting this).

After speaking to our developers, cloning the /friends system onto MC-WarZ isn't exactly easy. This means that we will just be using the global friend system in order for you to protect teammates from friendly fire.

To remind you of this old system, you have to be mutual friends in order to be protected from friendly fire. If you are not, you will be able to damage your non-mutual friends. We will also have warnings in chat for when someone unfriends you, to protect against betraying attacks better.

The team system will be removed on May 6, 2016 (afternoon).

Server Amounts Reduced​

From the result of the reduce servers poll, we have decided to reduce the amount of MC-WarZ servers from 10 total to 6 total. The poll was in majority for this option at about 40% (at the time of posting this).

The following servers are impending deletion:

• MC-WarZ 4 (New Map)
• MC-WarZ 5 (New Map)

• MC-WarZ 9 (Old Map)
• MC-WarZ 10 (Old Map)

We highly suggest you play on these servers for a final time in order to use all of the items you may of saved up over the months. Staff will be hopping on over the week to have drop parties and other small events. We'll post about these more officially as they happen.

The servers (4, 5, 9, and 10) will be removed on May 9, 2016 (early morning).
