quick question

Personally, I haven't seen them, since it's just editing the post, and not adding new ones. If you make a new post, it will catch more attention.

 

Yeah I think a new thread would work out better so we'll know when something's added.

 

I like the idea of a new thread. It is more direct and you do not have to reread the old one numerous times.

I wasn't even aware of the WildWest updates, a new thread would be nice or possibly a notification when updates are released

 

I was aware of the thread and the changes, but posting it in the developer section would be bettah.

 

Post it in the dev section Meria. :v I wouldn't have even noticed the update you did yesterday if you didn't post this. :v As for the house abandoning thing, won't people just abandon them right before their rent is up to effectively rent it for less and then re-rent it?

It's possible not all information is included, please include all new information for the server, on that thread.

For instance, @DPV claims that now, Sheriff's can combat tag players with bounty over 1k in No-pvp zones. Is this true? If so, please include important mechanic or rule changes with the rest of the Change Log.

 

Ds, this has been a thing for a long time now. I think this was a thing right after wildwest came out of Beta. Sheriffs can attack players with over a 1k bounty in non-pvp zones. I really don't know why this is even a thing since it's not covered in the protocol to my knowledge...

 

Good to know about how long its been in-game, I'd love to see it included in the rules. Along with any other unwritten mechanics.

 

I just got this clarified. Apparently, there is no special protocol for towns and other non-pvp areas. Of course, you can't just kill people in towns for no reason. The same rules apply that do outside of towns. If someone attacks/kills a sheriff and then takes cover in a town, sheriffs can kill that player. So... make sure not to run into towns if you shot at a sheriff. :v

 

So where are updates on Wild West submitted?

 

No? A sheriff can shoot a player with a 1k+ bounty. But ONLY if this player had been chases by the sheriff for these past 5 minutes and was in the range of the sheriff for atleast 3 minutes ago.

 

Personally I only found out about this thread from a friend - I think updates should be posted in the Development Logs section & the WildWest Forums section.
