The "Veteran" Rank

    Everyone who has a lifetime rank before the new EULA changes should get a "veteran" rank. It does exactly the same as their old rank would, except their name in chat would be gold. They could do /tag VIP to change their name to green. The veteran tag would be whatever their old rank was (so even if I was a veteran, it'd say ELITE SoCool21, with my name in gold). A server I play on changed their ranks as soon as the EULA was announced, and people with a donation rank before had a veteran rank, and I thought it was pretty neat.

    Or the "Veteran" rank would only be for the oldest players of Brawl. Like a medal or a special rank in-game which gives no special features.

    Yeah. The veteran rank could be given to people who have played for a really really long time. All the veteran rank should do is give people a gold name, they'd still retain everything they had from their previous donator rank (if any).

    Eh, I decided to come back a month ago (kinda regretting it already) and got unbanned from the forums a few days ago. I'll be active, for now.

    They should make it so that you have mcpvp before your name, if you are a mcpvper.

    I'd prefer if the title "veteran" were reserved for actually old players. If you changed the name of this though, it might be good. :v
    We really don't need to add anything to separate former McPvPers from the rest of the Brawl community.

    Basically every single McPvP gamemode is still alive :stuck_out_tongue: Brawl has HG, CTF and Build, a lot of other servers have HG, and sabotage is back up, along with Maze, Siege and KitPvP. Raid is the same as SPvP (which I believe was made by Massive, who probably based it off main on McPVP), so the only ones that haven't been brought back yet are Headshot and Smash. But hey, little bit off topic :stuck_out_tongue:

    It would be a a good idea like mentioned above for older players. I feel as if it would be a good idea to get some recognition that you were playing on the server for a while and you have the rank "Veteran".

    If this is the case, they should have it if you're an old player on McPvP or Brawl. Say if they make it that you get the Veteran rank after 2 years of playing Brawl - even though today's actually my 4 year anniversary on this account, I still wouldn't get it.

    This seems like a good idea, especially for the old players who still play on the servers today. Perhaps only something, like a gold clan tag for war.

    This couldn't be applied for all gamemodes though - in CTF for example, there's no tags apart from your rank (which not everyone has) and your name.

    Brawl doing something to recognize its old players? Dream on buddy.

    You get a shiny medal for being on the forums for a year and it's all downhill from there. Those who don't leave or get banned are slowly driven crazy by the god-forsaken community. They stop playing on the servers and become a bunch of malcontent forum lurkers, spreading dissent throughout Brawl. Then they make a forum conversation where they circle jerk about how awful this place is, while the ever-watchful admins slowly pick us off one by one. Eventually, almost everyone you knew is gone, and you just go out quietly. Like a whisper in the midnight wind. It might be the ban hammer, or you might have just walked away. Not sure how I'm going out yet. Only time will tell I guess. ;V

    When people think they are an old McPvP vet but no one actually knows them from mcpvp.
