    I don't know if it was near Harshaw or Amarillo, but you go to one of near Indian Camps and put compass to the nearest stable. You find a village and near there the train.

    All trainstracks lead to other towns. The tracks start east of Frisco. They past Frisco and head west, then turning south. There is a crossroad there where one track goes to Shaniko and Ellsworth while the other goes to Harshaw then Amarillo. Once the two tracks hit the second town, they head tword eachother and meet up. The tracks sometimes pass near rebel bases, like wildgrass. I use the tracks to travel from Frisoc to wildgras because there are no hills i have to climb.

    I did that same thing and found the train, it was an interesting surprise.
