Wild West EULA Friendly Ideas

1$ for 5 minutes of doubled processing time for the whole server? Or how about boosts for peocessing time for one specific drug. Like only boosting shrooms processing.

 

5 minutes is too short and $1 too little. It needs to be 1 hour of 150% processing time for $6.

 

Premium horses should be buyable ingame, but the people who bought it with real money can OR receive ingame money OR keep the horses.

 

Besides the gathering and processing boosts, there aren't many server-wide boostable mechanics. The only ones that come to mind are some kind of Indian/Chest loot boost, and some sort of QoL boost that reduces Horse calls, jail time, and other Waiting mechanic, and finally a Gear boost which lets everyone on the server spawn with an undroppable Sabre etc (would have to be careful about dupes etc).

Besides Boosts:
Cosmetic House items. Jukeboxes, Head Placement, Armor Racks, Glowstone Lamps.
Cosmetic Leather armor colors, and perhaps Horse Color/Naming. (the Server rank cosmetics are like Trails and pets, we could have armor and horse cosmetics be Wild-West-specific-purchases, hopefully with Retro ranks getting the Horse permissions granted).

Titles. Titles Titles Titles. Prefixes. Suffixes. Wild West related titles. Funny, cool, all 5$ each. This is less applicable to Wild West than other Brawl servers because of the Rogue and Team and Donor tags that already exist, so if you were to do this, you would want to make those much smaller, like a small red asterisk for Rogue instead of the word, in order to keep the chat clutter manageable.

Random Loot Crates: These contain a chance at an item, including the previously mentioned items/titles. You also need a base or consolation prize, so that you do not win all the Cosmetics right away, and that consolation prize must be something you do not mind winning multiple times, and all the items won must follow EULA, so you couldn't put the horses in here My first thought for the consolation prize is a Drink from the Bartender, but would that be selling gold, since you have a chance to win some gold?

Tldr: More Boosts: Loot, Call/Waiting Reduction, Undroppable Gear Upgrades.

 

A cheap $1 perk that allows the player to bypass the global chat cooldown.

An option that spawns unique loot in chests on the server for x amount of time.

An option that triggers a "feast" event on the server. This would spawn a covered wagon train with good loot at one of many predetermined places in the map. The coords would be announced in the chat.

An option that allows free drinks at the casino for around 1-2 minutes for the entire server. (Kinda a bypass to the EULA if you think about it. Only players prepared for this would get the drinks in time, and whoever bought it would clearly be ready for it. Essentially free money.)

Messages similar to the ones for valentine's day, except in cowboy lingo. These would have a cooldown so they wouldn't be spammed, but would be repeatable.

Decreased store prices for x amount of time.

I bet that if these perks were for a small period of time for a small amount of money, you would be raking in the dough. Microtransactions sell like crazy.

What about a 'Get Out of Jail Free Card' type thing? Everyone online at the time of the purchase (and the purchaser regardless of online status) gets their bounties set to 0.

 

Geez, that's OP, but that's what makes it great. I think many people would be interested in buying this. :L

Not unless it's really cheap. If it applies to everyone on the server, you could make an extra buck or two.

 

What about fireworks on servers? And turning off chat advertisements?

 

I'm just saying, IF Brawl does die, where would Wild West go? I'm just saying. No need to jump on me.

 

Donate for a cow that follows you, when you want to.

>I dislike the "Feast" option of all this. I mean just imagine you spent the money on this and suddenly a team of 5 is camping it. Thus they would get all of the goodies and you wouldn't. Even then the economy would break as the "good loot" I assume would be diamond gear and guns. Thus it'll be like the WarZ air drop. May the biggest team win. The only way for it to be fair is random coords are selected and it wouldn't be broadcasted in chat. So its like a easter egg hunt. (Won't spawn in/or near towns and away from fields and rebel bases)

Note how I chose animals that are small so they wouldn't interfere with the guns and pvp. So you can explore the Wild West with your furry companion. Then again you might be thinking how is a mooshroom realistic? Well that's all the shrooms you've been eating recently, they're warping your mind!

Pets will be used to block Bullets.

 

So can horses, if you read through my post you'll find out that once the pet gets hit by anything it'll automatically despawn. Basically if it gets hit you get combat tagged which causes it to despawn. Although all the animals minus the cat, dog will be baby animals so if you're planning on shooting the guys feet then that's seems more like a personal problem. As far as i can see it has no real benefits besides a lot of down sides for you aswell.

 

The ability to block the first bullet of a gank is a really strong one. I'll be placing these on the window ledge of poppy to stop the T-g gank, or I will be shooting over them in doorways with a shotgun, allowing me to be hit by only 1/2 their first burst, at most.

 

Then again a horse can do such a thing. Use the horse as a sacrifice to gain the upper hand by taking the first bullet. I mean with the pet what if its blocking your shots instead? Or you open up its gui and get killed by that? There is so much more downsides that ups that you don't have to worry. You also seem to forget that once shot the animal will go poof. Which can screw you over as you might be using it as cover and get killed. A horse can be used in the same way using it as cover to save yourself from bullets. Although yes it can be killed and bought back it can be used as a get away to.
