Yes, yes, I know, this IS the Wild West, were those with their gunslinger revolvers rule the land, but why not mix things up a bit?

So, having taken a look at some of the weapons, I concluded that WildWest COULD possibly be set during the time of World War II. Now, before you go omg what do you know about the server that the coders don't, let me point out a fact. The T-Gewehr and the C96 Mauser were weapons used DURING WWII, the C96 as an officers weapon, and the T-Gewehr, surprisingly, was an anti-tank rifle, firing 13mm of pure awesomeness. But, what if we added a few weapons to the game, and make it a little more interesting?

    New Legal Automatic:

    Thompson A-1:

    ROF: High

    Magazine: 20 rounds

    Damage: Low

    Range: Medium

    Accuracy: High

    New Illegal Automatic:

StG 44 (Keeping with the German-weapons-are-illegal theme)

    Magazine: 30

    ROF: Medium

    Damage: High

    Range: Low

    Accuracy: Medium

    New Sheriff Automatic:

    PPsh-41

    Magazine: 50

    ROF: High

    Damage: Low

    Range: Medium

    Accuracy: Low

And finally, what everyone has been waiting for, the addition of the gatling gun! Essentially the minigun out of War, but it cannot be fired unless zoomed, and you can't move when zoomed!

I love the idea of an automatic weapon but be considerate with the timing of these weapons. These weapons were developed during WW2, way past the era of the 'Wild West'. I haven't done too much research but I think I only remember one automatic weapon.

I found a second automatic weapon or believe to be.
Colt Browning 1895 (Nicknamed Potato Digger for some reason)

I like the idea of automatic weapons, but I don't think you should take some from WWII. The famous Old West, the period with Billy the Kid, Calamity Jane, Doc Holliday, etc. was in the late 1800s. Particularly during reconstruction.
I did have the idea of one automatic weapon, the gatling gun. https://www.brawl.com/threads/57119/

I don't think that we need fast rate of fire guns.

Everyone who plays War knows that fast rate of fire leads to more knockback. This would really change the way pvp was done. Currently, a noob has a chance of dodging some of the bullets and using melee, perhaps with another melee noob, to take a gunner down.

If we implement guns that have a rate of fire which allows for knockback to be used advantageously, the difference between Melee Tier (new) PvPers and Gun Tier (richer) PvPers will dramatically increase.

It also won't feel like the Wild West, with rifles and shotguns and knives, where each bullet, swing or step has serious consequences.

It would feel like War with Horses. -1 to handheld automatic weapons.

Gatling Gun (Turret/grounded gun): If, as you suggested, the Gatling gun couldn't be used on a horse, and you couldn't move while using it, that would be a bit more balanced. It would need to be outranged by the T-gweher and Carcano, meaning that at full range it would require a spray of a few seconds for enough of the bullets to be accurate enough to kill the target, giving the target a chance to rifle the gatling gunner. Gatling guns were used in the (edit: American) Civil War.

Not a fan of having automatic weapons. If your in a corner and being shot at by an automatic, you can't escape due to the knockback. As Dsawemd said - it would make escaping from bullet much harder as the gunner can simply spray in your direction which would change the nature of Wild West combat.

I think the guns are pretty balanced as it is (maybe some of the sheriff ones are still a bit op - one shots) and they should be left as it is.

    -1 from me - sorry.

Yeah, I'm starting to think automatic weapons aren't a good idea.
