    On some servers - mainly Wild West, when a player with a rank logs in they get a 'Eil joined the server' message in chat. While it adds a nice little entrance for ranked members, it raises an issue involving /report.

    I will give an example - I see a hacker (which I do every day on Wild West) so naturally do /report - Then we get a nice 'Canoodle joined the server' - Now this slightly defeats the point of /report where a staff comes online, immediately goes in vanish, and spectates the hacker due to the fact there is a nice announcement to the whole server (and the hacker) that a staff member has joined - And hence the hacker stops hacking.

    My suggestion - Server log in announcements are disabled for staff members - sweet and simple, but would make catching hackers much easier.
    (Or just enable BrawlBot Auto Banning on Wild West)

    Actually some hackers may not even notice the staff member and still continue hacking, but I do have to agree that a staff member should have the settings to disable the Server Login announcment..

    Who knows? Maybe they do? And we just don't know it yet o-o

    I agree completely. I have never seen this happen myself, but disabling staff login announcements would make hackers much easier to catch, like you said.

    I also agree that Brawl Bot should be enabled on Wild West. I have seen numerous situations where hackers get by with hacking as they take advantage of the fact that almost no staff can get on. A few of them get banned by Brawl Bot after people use /report, but at the moment hackers are a big problem on Wild West.

    It'd make it so if a staff member is joining a server through /report, you could instantly join in /v or /poof and /fly no matter what rank you are. JMODs would have to record them and /kick them temporarily and report them to a higher rank, or just simply get a higher rank on.

    If the hacker gets banned or logs off, it could kick you from the server for

    "WarSkater has been banned" or "WarSkater has logged off"

    Something along those lines, obviously with increased tweaking and more in depth decisions.

    I think this idea is nessecary, it makes it almost impossible to catch hackers on WildWest. Just because of the, "Nezzr has joined the game."
    If the players knows the staff member, it is likely they stop hacking... Multiple times I have been watching a hacker and they PM me saying "Hey, I'm not hacking" or something along those lines. This idea has my +1

    And yes, I have to agree with everything you said. But staff members should be able to switch it on/off imo.

    As WarSkater was saying - Staff clicks on the 'Eil has reported WarSkater for Force Field' and instantly joins the server in vanish. One of the other problems is /sheriff in Wild West - A staff member in vanish who is a sheriff still appears in /sheriff.

    Kick from the server? yas definitely, you report a hacker and run away from him and fight someone else. then you get kicked saying "warskater has been banned" Rip loots

    No matter what rank you are, you join in /v and /fly because you're trying to get a hacker banned. Higher ranks can go in /v at anytime, while jmods would only be able to when trying to catch a hacker.
