    Sup brawlers, so many of you may know that locking your thread was removed because of abuse.

    I have an idea, I want to be able to lock my thread, so why not have it so if JMods+ can lock threads to do there duties and we can't unlock it, but if a JMod+ doesn't lock it, we have complete control of our thread.

    So I think the reason why it was removed was because a JMod+ locked a thread because of something and the owner just unlocked it. This idea would fix that. I would love to see it added.

    Example of the abuse: (Context of the thread) JMod+ locks it because of flaming, owner just unlocks it.

    Example of the idea/fix: (Context of the thread) the owner may lock/unlock their thread but if a JMod+ locks it, premiums can not unlock it.

    This would make it so premiums had more additions and the forums would still be clean.

    I don't think it is possible to do this with Xenforo permissions. You can lock a thread or you can't; other circumstances are not taken into account.

    There was a thread by @Gehenna_Beam that @Jaetpack1 locked, which Gehenna unlocked himself. Jaetpack brought this to @chickenputty s attention, and he removed it.

    I didn't unlock it. I was just able to reply to it still because it was my thread. What brought @chickenputty to it was that I mentioned him in a post.

    Would it be possible to let premiums lock threads their own threads, but not unlock them?

    Ontop of what Roke said, Brawl can only change what XenForo already lets them change. If XenForo doesn't have an option for something, Brawl can't change it.
