New Sheriffs Needed

That would be greate but every single app i see get's denied

 

Roke is looking at the sheriff appd whenever he can. The new wave might be coming soon. We discussed this in the sheriff slack chat, and to he honest, I don't see many applicants that are worth of becoming a sheriff.
We shall see.

 

Two other sheriffs besides me were on today for some time, (if I do connect to the server, I'm not on actual MC just a chat type thing.) I agree, many sheriffs have started to Slack off. A few sheriffs are actually busy with their own lifes at the moment.
Though, I must say. No one really catches my full attention yet.

 

Yeah, I don't usually see other sheriffs on. Sometimes @InfiniSTistus is on but other then him and the ones you mentioned there usually aren't any other sheriffs online.

New wave of two, tada. :v There really could be more, but there are just too many issues with the apps/applicants. If people would only put effort into their apps, there would be a lot more sheriffs atm. Right now, the quality is just painfully low. Congrats to the newbies though. :V

 

2 sheriff at once is enough. 3 would be the max amount. Sheriffs could check bases and provide each other backup and maybe even fight together.

In these situations, it is not fun for players to process drugs. Some sheriffs should log off to make it more fair.
On the other hand, if there is only 1 sheriff online, he can be killed / spawntrapped very easily by a small group of geared players.

 

SoCool seems like a good candidate, but Darth always seemed disrespectful and immature in chat... he always raged when he died and when he did get a kill, he would always spam "ez" in global.

Darth proved that everybody can become a sheriff, especially since 18kss had become SMOD and started "magically summoning sheriffs."

Anyway, back to the topic. We definitely need more sheriffs. Although the player might not want more sheriffs, but being a lone sheriff with 10 rogues is not a fun experience. Also, when I play on my alt as a bandit, I find that most of the time there is no sheriffs on.

The thing is, we can't just give sheriff powers to any random person. Most people that try out are immature, or don't really know how the gamemode works. So maybe we lower the standards? But then we wouldn't be getting quality people that will stay around for longer than one day

Anyway, the sheriff predicament is a tricky one. There really isn't an argument of if we need sheriffs, but how we can get them.

 

the problems is the sheriffs got no skill, they either die or abuse commands , high fighting skilled sheriffs are what we needed, gotta find someone to fight with, its getting boring out here in the west...

 

Maybe you should stop killing defenseless miners. If you feel like you aren't challenged, use legal guns, instead of being able to two shot sheriffs with your Gewehr/Model.
