Story Just a Little Time - Chapter 8

The enormous gates to the palace opened, and inside there was exactly what you would expect from a party arranged by royalty: Everything you could think of.

At the gates, a whole load of archers from around the world were entering the building, most of them tired of waiting in the freezing cold.

Ender tried to spot any archers he knew. "Let's see... I think I see kking over there..."

Chaos then proceeded to 1-up him. "There's Risabu, and over there is Elliott, as well as Uni, Spiffy and Chhimi. Oh, and over there is B0squet. Huh, is Deps here? He's usually never late to a party."

"He said that you would know when he arrived" Iris replied.

"Let's just go find a place to drink, shall we?" Jack suggested. John Smith agreed, and they sat down near the food table, and started chatting over a few smoked salmon wraps.

The lights in the room gone out. Naturally, everybody was confused.

"Blackout?" Chaos asked.

"No. I sense telekinesis here." Iris replied.

"How can telekinesis shut off lights?"

"Simple. Move the electrons inside the bulb so that is doesn't create light."

"Say what now?"

Iris sighed. "I'll explain to you maybe next year. For now, we gotta figure out what telekinesis is powerful enough to do that. This here, it isn't any normal telekinesis. It's way too powerful to be normal."

The doors proceeded to open slowly. Outside, there stood a man wearing a robe that was a really really really dark shade of purple, as well as a hood of the same colour. The man then lifted up his hood, revealing a face with bright green glowing eyes and messy brown hair. Chaos and Iris gave a light smile when they saw who it was. During all that time, the man had his head facing the ground. He then lifted his arms into sky and lifted his head. Once he lifted his head, a massive explosion happened behind him, followed by a bunch of fireworks.

With just one action of his finger, all the lights turned back on. He glanced around, and laid his eyes on Chaos, Iris, Lacy and Ender. He smiled, and headed towards them.

"So, just look who we've got here. The Master of Entropy, the Princess of Wintraria, Reykjavik's Apprentice and the Apprentice's Girlfriend." He said once he got over to the group.

"Deps, I was wondering when you'd get here." Chaos replied.

Ender was stunned about how Deps knew about how he was brought in by Reykjavik. "How did you know about Reykjavik?"

"Ender, I talk to him every day. We're pals, considering the fact that Depsoria is one of the leading powers in the Ender Dimensions"

"Deps, Depsoria IS the leading power in the Ender Dimensions" Chaos pointed out.

"Actually, I'm pretty sure Ianite's domain is the leading power. You know, considering the fact that she's the goddess of that place and all."

"You guys have the Existence Beam. One of only 2 in Existence. And Wintraria has the 2nd one."

"Ianite's a Goddess."

"You're basically a God."

"Pseudo-God."

"Would both of you kindly shut up?" Lacy asked.

"OK, yes, back to topic. I actually supported Reykjavik's plan to make you what you are now. You had potential, now you have more potential." Deps explained.

"Alright then... And why did you say that Lacy is my girlfriend?" Ender asked.

"Ummm... Iris, am I in the wrong time period to say that? Sorry, it's just that I've been time hopping quite a bit lately. There were 4 cases of people suspected of having past lives that I was really curious in. I know or a fact that past lives are real. Why? Because I've already died 6 times today. Dying is how I retain the look of a 15-year-old, and not the look of a 600-trillion-year-old."

"Yes, you got the wrong time period for saying that. And I'm not even gonna ask about your time-hopping activities." Winter informed.

"Iris? Chaos? Deps?"

Iris recognized that voice. It was a voice she had not heard for a very long time.

"Glace Glace On?" Glacion asked. Iris had figured out that that meant 'Who is it?'.

"It's... it's..."

"Since when was Iris so stuttery?" Deps asked Chaos. Deps hadn't actually seen Iris or Ender for a while, so he wasn't so catched up on current events.

"Since he walked into the room." He replied.

"Wait a minute... Is that... SENPAI??!!"

"What? I thought I was your senpai."

"Your my senpai for being insane, Chaos. He is true senpai that is senpai of archering."

Chaos looked at the center of attention for Deps and Iris. He automatically understood everything. There he was, in his green robes, with his green hood lifted up. Deps had always said that his and that man's robes were not made out of the same material: that Deps's robes were infused with Depsorian energy whilst the man's were just plain dyed leather, but he had to admit, the two robes would've looked exactly the same if it wasn't for the colour scheme.

"What's everyone staring at? Have you not seen me in THAT long? Come on, guys, it couldn't have been THAT long since you last saw me."

"It has been THAT long, Zachary." Chaos replied, being the only one who wasn't immobile at the sight of Zachary standing there in front of them.

Meanwhile, Ender and Lacy had absolutely no idea what was going on. "So... Ummm... Who's Zachary?" They both asked.

Iris was the first to answer. "He is a very good friend of mine."

Deps was next. "He is senpai."

Chaos answered last "All you really need to know is that he's a great archer, a great dude in general, and he likes cheese."

"He does?! Huh, that's where I got that preference from, then..." Deps said.

"Well Zachary, I'll be looking forward to talking to you more." Ender informed.

Deps then realized he had left his partners in the car. "Welp, be right back people, just gotta get Umbreon and Espeon."

"Where is Houndoom, anyway?" Chaos asked.

"Houndoom Hound!" He heard from about half way across the hall.

A good 20 minutes of chatting between the group passed, and Deps came back.

"What took you so long?" Lacy asked.

"I parked the car down in Spring Avenue, as it was the warmest place in the city. But of course, it was still extremely cold and my car was still underneath 5 feet of snow, so it would've been much more worth it if I just parked the car in the palace's parking area."

"Umb Umbry, Breon Umb On, Umbreon." Deps's partner, Umbreon, agreed.

"Espy Espeon." Espeon, Deps's other partner, agreed as well.

"Right, so how about we go sit down with John Smith and Jack Harkness? They could use some company." Ender suggested. They all agreed to do it, and gone over to the food table.
