This is a thread for simple fun discussions about the elite week meta, where everyone has elite.

    Here are my observations:

    1. Mines: More people are mining, and taking advantage of that ore multiplier. These people are often noobs, and they often work together in the mine instead of attacking each other, making for an interesting solo pvp objective.

    2. Guns: Some lost effectiveness due to everyone having full leather+, some gained effectiveness. The Carcano is the big loser, with its double-tap head-body 2 shot kill potential lost, and the Mauser is the big winner, with its fire rate and 3-shot kill on full leather really shining this "week". The Indian bow is literally unusable, as arrow damage scales down a lot with armor.

    3. Horses: The pay-2-win horses are really really nice to have, because they are currently unobtainable. That means that anyone with these horses has an undeniable advantage over anyone who didn't purchase them when they cost real money, an advantage that will remain until the Stables starts selling the pay-2-win horses for in-game money. Some people are also more willing to risk their mounts in PvP, since its easier to replace them.

    4. Wildgrass Meta: Wildgrass is now a very busy base, since everyone has access to Frisco. In the past, you could expect to find 1-3 well geared players here, but now its mostly teams of people, each with full leather and one gun. Also, once the pvp starts there, you can expect a steady stream of it until Rogue timers wear off, and the base stops drawing so much attention.

    5. Drug fields: Nearly always empty, since people can very quickly gather their drugs without needing to farm multiple respawns of the field.

    6. Cartels are still broken, and are a very peaceful place to relax and make forums posts

    7. In general: People have more money, and are more likely to have guns or armor. People at bases or mines are likely to have better loot than they would have without Elite "week".

What I think is in danger of happening: After elite "week" is over, there will be a small server die-off in response to the new, slower tempo of play. A temporary sale on the planned boosters would help combat this, with the boosters going to their full price after another "week".

"Small server die off" doesn't seem like the right term, but I think that everyone who is currently taking advantage of the free elite could earn enough money to survive after the "Week" ends. Carcano didn't lose that much, everyone still uses it but the mauser has reached a new popularity rather than the T-Wegehr and Moddel approach because of it's low budget effectiveness. I haven't been to any mines recently, but I think after my exams I could check it out. Most people I fought usually have either a mauser, a LeMat revolver or the volcanic. More people are starting to get weapons as the server grows older (I'm glad). At Wildgrass, I usually process on my 'other' account that doesn't stop crime, usually with a team of five but when I'm not in the mood for processing. I can ride to WG and arrest from just one to five people at once. There have been more fights recently, which I feel glad for because someone ends up firing at me causing a gun fight. I don't think a sale would be needed since people already have 10$ worth of free perks so far.

I completely agree with DS, the server might see a small decline or a small increase after the ELITE is over. Depends how brawl handles it.

This is true, a lot of players rely on having Elite and I don't think many realise how much benefit they actually get from having it. Going from being able to mine 2/3 of a WG field to get a full inventory, to having to wait for 2 respawns and things like that is certainly likely to put people off.

Well I know anyone with a rank bought before the EULA will keep their /tpa commands. However the only EULA friendly way to get it now would be somehow buy it ingame... unless they decide to give everyone it, just with a 30 minute cooldown or something like that.
