I'm basically buying a new Graphics Card, and I use CS:GO to compare my current one with the new one I plan to save up to get. I currently play CS:GO on another shared computer, but I want to get my own Graphics Card for my computer.

    Current Card:

    New Card Cost:

Worth orno? I personally think it's the best deal evar. Just to let you know, RAM is 8 GB and my CPU is good.

Hmm, I would say that that is a very good card, you will be able to play most games with it.

Especially CS:GO. You could play that on school chromebooks and still get 100+ FPS.

Edit: What CPU do you have?

My CPU is AMD FX-4350 Quad-Processor Core. When I built it with my brother, it was insanely good, but he told me I just needed to get a good Graphics Card then it would be beast.

I don't see a reason to upgrade your graphics card if the only two games you play are minecraft and CSGO.

If these games run fine then there is no need to upgrade unless you want to play games which actually have such high requirements.

I have other games in my steam library, I also am planning to get Overwatch :V. And on top of that this is my development computer and all of the programs and crap that I code are tested on this one.

Always get the best is my motto. If you think you need it snap it up. The 960 OC's very well.

wait for the radeon rx 480.
    #thepricewariscomming...

The radeon rx 480 will likely force nvidia to lower their prices 2.

Or you could safe up a little bit more to get an actually good graphics card.

GTX 1080 is faster then two GTX 980's or one Titan X.
GTX 1070 is as fast as an GTX 980 Ti.

2 radeon rx 480 outperforms gtx 1080 in crossfire for a cheaper price.

So you should wait for the radeon rx 480 if your budget is around 200 bucks.

Well if you consider the fact that you need the voltage for 2 graphic cards he'll need to buy a new power supply unit.

And when we are talking about outperformance, we are talking about 4-5FPS. It`s up to OP, I`m not a huge fan of AMD and their products honestly.

The 980Ti does OC better and has a faster memory bus width. However not sure if the new Memory Compression algorithm in the 1070 is better than physically more bus width.

The Radeon rx 480 uses just 150w, and i believe hes budget is around 200$ = the price of the radeon rx 480. It's your problem if you aren't a fan of amd.

I might as well just buy this right now (considering I'm impatient, couldn't game high quality games on a real computer for like 2 years), then I'll sell it, get a bit more money, and buy the Radeon rx 480.

I would recommend buying a gtx 1070 instead if you are planning to buy a gtx 960 now and a radeon rx 480 later.
