    Sometimes many of us (including myself) just can't help but creating a post/thread that we thought twice about after we created it. Basically, I think that it would be a minor help for the OP (original poster) to be able to delete their post/thread, without needing to constantly ask a mod to lock it/remove it for them

    Inb4 memers coming in to say somethin like "yeah you should be able to delete your own threads like dis one"

    I'm not sure if the permissions changed because Xenforo was updated since Putty posted this, but it could still be an issue.

    I think you can delete replies, I've definitely done it a few times. Might just be a donator perk though.

    Clarifying what Roke said, if we allowed this we would have to allow everyone the ability to delete their threads/posts anytime. This isn't preferred because content would be getting deleted on the site when it's not necessary. I would allow it for like 5 minutes after posting, but I can't.

    As SoCool said, it is indeed a perk for lifetime VIP+ members.

    I don't think people need to delete posts often enough for us to look into this further. If there is security concern or similar, just report the thread/post and we'll delete it.
