    Would it be wrong for me to give tips to evade sheriffs? Considering I am one.

    It's just so many players have been complaining about sheriffs recently. I think some advice on how to counter us would help.

    That's what I do when I know 5 sheriffs are going to target me.

    It's not too hard to avoid sheriffs, people deal with them the wrong way. (Staying back to fight, etc.)

    Step one: Kill sheriff.

    Step two: Prepare for more.

    Step three: If you want to live, have your team mass /logout or throw stuff in a horse and suicide, because the sheriffs will shoot back this time. It's not fun.

    T-Gewehrs can one-hit kill sheriffs, although I've heard that's a bug.

    If you see a sheriff while you're processing, put your drugs in a horse and send that horse to the stable or run away. If you run away, make sure the sheriff doesn't see you, because they can chase you until they catch you. Also, if you escape on horse, the sheriff can shoot your horse in order to stop you.

    If you kill a sheriff, make sure you put your important belongings away, because that sheriff will be determined to find you and more than likely kill you. You become KOS (kill on sight) for the next 5 minutes. They'll also might have back up.

    From my experience yesterday, due to the sheer number of sheriffs online (6 sheriffs for 30 players) you couldn't process for more than 5 minutes without a sheriff coming. I learned the hard way - there is no point in even attempting to kill them. Since you can't /team hq when rouge anymore, killing 1 sheriff will only result in getting 6v1ed :/. /logout hasn't worked for me a great deal either. @InfiniSTistus seems to hate me and camps my log off spots for up to an hour so I can't log on without getting arrested instantly.

    It shouldn't be hard, take the highest points. You see a sheriff? Call a horse, don't run until sheriff doesn't get interested in you. Don't panic, just observe the sheriff and when the sheriff gets interested in you - run as far as you can. Prepare splints and don't allow your health to reach 0. Once your horse is summoned, go ahead.

    If fight is inevitable, kill the sheriff and don't wait for more - run! Move for 5 minutes and do not stop. After 5 minutes passes, you are safe.

    You were only doing WG. At poppy I could fill horse with 18 stacks of processed poppy having 6 sheriffs online. I was also processing with 8 on. Moreover, you may wait until reboot then nobody can arrest after you log back, it's against sheriff handbook.

    Handbook got changed remember - what you did before reboot counts after reboot (correct?)
    Also, if its only because I am at WG - then the sheriffs are not doing their job correctly as they are targeting WG, and not going to all the bases in turn.

    Opposite. "After a server reboot, sheriffs may not arrest players who have performed an illegal action before a server reboot."

    It was already like that, but was never added to the handbook. And sheriffs don't have to do all the bases in turn. Oftentimes we go where we know someone is processing or a large team is camping.

    And to add on to this, WG is the most popular drug. Going there more often is common sense, really.

    And the most dangerous players go to wildgrass. Entire teams have been known to camp there and process.

    1# Don't take on a sheriff with legals, it will rarely work.

    #2 Have teammates ready to back you up.

    #3 If there's more than one sheriff, unless you have no other option, don't open fire. You will become target practice for repeaters and coach guns.
