    Hey guys. During 18kss’s vacation, in order to pick up the slack when it came to server ideas, I have gone through and read all 219 of the ideas that you have suggested for wild west. I have also condensed them into brief descriptions that can be easily read through. This was mainly for 18kss, but if you would like get the general gist of an idea quickly, you’re in the right place. That way you can recommend ideas to him more easily if you wish. I’ve organized them into different categories to ease your trouble in finding something specific. If you are having trouble finding something that you are looking for, open the “All Ideas” spoiler and use your browser’s page search function to seek out keywords. The All Ideas section will be in another post of mine, as this thread exceeds the mord limit for the forums. I’ve added notes to some of the ideas, which is essentially my commentary on them. Search keyword “Notes:” to find the ideas I have given my two cents on. Also included in this research so to speak are repeated trends that I have seen when looking through the server ideas. These are also viewable down below. I’ve created a thread based on the first trend that I’ve seen already. You can view this here. Finally, I have a list of what I believe would be welcome additions to the server included as well. These are under the “My Personal Recommendations” spoiler.     Server Ideas:

    Nightbell Drug and Frost Effect in Frisco

    Description: Frost would damage the player once every 7 minutes and give them temporary slowness. Nightbell is a rare drug that spawns not in a field, but randomly in the icy lands near frisco. 1 processed = 300 g, but very rare.

    Notes: The frost idea would be interesting if there was an item needed to protect against it. There aren’t many random fires in wild west.

    Personal Black Markets

    Description: Adds a Marketer NPC that can only be found by talking to a drug dealer which tells you where he is. Marketer allows the purchase of black markets which are essentially “illegal homes.” Are scattered throughout the wilderness and can only be found by talking to Marketers who point your compass to the market of a player. Can sell items from them. 40k for 8 shops, 125k for 16 shops, 250k for 32 shops, 550k for 64 shops. A player gains 1500 bounty per purchase. Can spawn there upon death. Sheriffs can’t track these, but can see if you own one by talking to a Marketer. Sheriffs can arrest online players that they know have a blackmarket.

    Notes: Would be interesting if these randomly spawned in the middle of nowhere. It would be a random chance to find them. It wouldn’t alert sheriffs if you robbed them. The bounty would raise as high as a conductor robbing, but the items or money would be greater due to the fact that they spawn randomly in the wilderness.

    Notes: Would be better if it took more around a couple seconds, but had less profit and more uses. It would be more exciting and less farmy that way. I think it would be better if it cost 1k, had 20 uses, took 6 seconds per use, with 0-150 per use. This equated to a $500 profit every two minutes.

    Personal Camps, Forts, and Settlements

    Description: Camps: Cost 6k. Players can buy food there. They can rent tents for 500 which would be an hq. Forts: Cost 2k. Where you sell weapons. Settlements: Cost 4k and have food merchants and stable managers. Can buy walls and NPC guards to defend your claim.

    Notes: I don’t like the idea of a cheap hq, but having your own “claim” so to speak is interesting. This was definitely a thing in the actual wild west.


    Cattle

    Description: Personal ranches and sellable cattle. Ranches would be built by the player on a plot of land in the wild for 8500 (small) or 12500 (medium). They could lasso cattle and bring them there where they would breed automatically every 5-10 minutes. Cattle would sell for 500 gold each. Cattle rustling players could steal while the owner of the ranch is online.

    Notes: I think that ranches would be better as an unowned structure that could be taken over by players similar to cartels. They could then spend their time ranching there protecting their cattle from anyone who would attempt to steal it.


    Economy, PvP, and In-Game Roles

    Description: Reduce the price of D armor to 10k and the Model and T-G to 13k total. Give sheriffs prot I armor back. Make handcuffs take 3 seconds to apply while immobilizing the target. Also add a reward for killing sheriffs. Boxes are dropped by sheriffs and players that contain prot D armor and premium horses. To open, a server-wide booster is necessary where anyone can open them for a period of time. Give players the ability to rent horses to other players for a certain amount of time. Bounty Hunters: players can accept this role for a period of time. They can only harm rogues and they drop heads only the player the killed them can sell. Their heads would be 10x as valuable.

    Notes: I completely approve of these prices for guns/armor. Handcuffs would be near unusable if this suggestion were implemented, and they are so underpowered already, this would only make it worse, especially if the prices were lowered. Handcuffs are the only outstanding weapon in the sheriff’s arsenal, the others either matching or in the case of the coach gun, falling short of the weapons players have. I think that prot D armor and premium horses would be absurdly overpowered if they came from crates. Ordinary D armor and illegal guns would be just as enticing and sufficient reason to buy a booster. The boxes should drop more frequently with the loot nerf, but still have a very small chance of giving out premium horses. I don’t think that renting horses is necessary, and I see it causing issues. What if the horse dies?

    Notes: It would be interesting if water bottles could be re-filled by right clicking water. It would also be interesting if it would be worse or better depending on where you were. For example, in a desert-like place, it would be worse. In Frisco, it would be better.

    Legal Overhaul

    Description: Different sorts of sheriff ranks. Recruit: Handcuffs only and need to play with a higher ranking sheriff that can inspect. Officer: What a sheriff is now. Deputy: Sheriff authority with a specific emphasis (drugs, conductors, rogues, etc). Sheriff: Random searches, pardon prisoners, clear bounties, kill instead of arrest if they feel like it, reward recruits with “points,” and send lower officers on missions. Big Guns: Made up of staff members. Aren’t bound by the law. Arrest, search, and handcuff at will as well as assign missions and give points. Points are to rank up from recruit, to deputy, to officer. “Points are received for successfully completing missions, stopping gangs (you know, those annoying groups that hang out around the processing houses and kill anyone who comes near-bye), placing arrests, generally being a helpful sidekick like entity etc.” Missions are worth points, and are assigned to lower ranking players by sheriffs or big guns. Tickets don’t have to be paid immediately, instead having a due date with penalties if ignored. Police could do drugs, but if caught by another cop, they could lose points or be demoted.


    Bandit Rank System

    Description: Bandits would level up based on illegal activity. Ranks come with perks.

    Thief – 10,000 “illegal points.” 2x Processing speed. Bonus $25 per drug sold.

    Gangster – 50,000 “illegal points.” 3x Processing speed. Bonus $50 per drug sold.

    El Chapo – 500,000 illegal “points.” 10x Processing speed. Bonus $100 per drug sold. Can get out of jail free once every 2 months.

    Notes: A rank system is interesting, but these specifically need adjustment. The processing speed and bonus cash need a nerf. Tony Montana up could be able to unrogue once a day. Capone up could tp twice daily. Chapo could get out of jail free once weekly. The illegal points could be bounty, and I believe they should be raised.


    Sheriff Ideas, Prison Breaks, and Gang Caps

    15 separate threads have recommended adding kits, experience, or more ranks to wild west. These three different things often go together in the ideas, with the kits and ranks requiring some form of points or experience to unlock.


    14 threads propose various nerfs to sheriffs (though this really isn’t all that surprising). Common trends here are repeater nerfs, no handcuffing while combat tagged, sheriffs having to work for their gear, and sheriff respawn timers.


    5 different threads have all suggested NPC robberies. 2 of the 5 threads specifically refer to bank robberies.

    Description: Frost would damage the player once every 7 minutes and give them temporary slowness. Nightbell is a rare drug that spawns not in a field, but randomly in the icy lands near frisco. 1 processed = 300 g, but very rare.

Tickets don’t have to be paid immediately, instead having a due date with penalties if ignored. Police could do drugs, but if caught by another cop, they could lose points or be demoted.

    Description: Reduce the price of D armor to 10k and the Model and T-G to 13k total. Give sheriffs prot I armor back. Make handcuffs take 3 seconds to apply while immobilizing the target. Also add a reward for killing sheriffs. Boxes are dropped by sheriffs and players that contain prot D armor and premium horses. To open, a server-wide booster is necessary where anyone can open them for a period of time. Give players the ability to rent horses to other players for a certain amount of time. Bounty Hunters: players can accept this role for a period of time. They can only harm rogues and they drop heads only the player the killed them can sell. Their heads would be 10x as valuable.

    Notes: I completely approve of these prices for guns/armor. Handcuffs would be near unusable if this suggestion were implemented, and they are so underpowered already, this would only make it worse, especially if the prices were lowered. Handcuffs are the only outstanding weapon in the sheriff’s arsenal, the others either matching or in the case of the coach gun, falling short of the weapons players have. I think that prot D armor and premium horses would be absurdly overpowered if they came from crates. Ordinary D armor and illegal guns would be just as enticing and sufficient reason to buy a booster. The boxes should drop more frequently with the loot nerf, but still have a very small chance of giving out premium horses. I don’t think that renting horses is necessary, and I see it causing issues. What if the horse dies?
