Will MinecraftParty disappear?

    So a larger, more developed server that shall not be named has released of a gamemode that is very similar to brawl's minecraft party.

    Therefore more players from brawl's community may transfer to the other server. As we know, minecraft party is one of the more populated servers on brawl. If this gamemode becomes less populated then that may result in brawl's total player count drop.

    I just wanted to address this issue to the rest of the community. Should we have more publicity? Is this the beginning of the end? There's definitely many unanswered questions because this is only day one.

    Controversial topic so please be rational.

    As you said, as of right now, party is probably Brawl's most popular server. I doubt people will start leaving, just because brawl has so many dynamic gamemodes. I do think we should advertise more, maybe get some good YouTubers :wink:

    No big YouTuber wants to record and upload on Brawl consistently. Most staff members either aren't active or just plainly don't do crap. Anywho, the YouTubers would most likely get bored because of how repetitive each game mode is.

    I have noticed that party has less players than it used to, but the loyal players will stay. Just because another server ripped off Brawl doesn't mean everyone will leave. I could name 2 servers for example but I don't want to advertise so let's call them Bob and Joe. Bob has many original minigames, and then Joe starts making their own versions of them that are not as enjoyable. Some people will leave, yes. But the true loyal players of Bob will stay and Bob will have a bigger player count because there games are better coded and they were the original. I like the original servers and I bet a lot others do too. I will support Brawl because it is fun and has a good community.

    I'm a firm believer that mcparty is one of our better servers due to the fact that it caters towards all types of players: pvpers, casual gamers, people that like minigames, etc. Therefore, even though mcparty doesn't have an actual die-hard community, it has a large playerbase and I believe it will survive for a very long time.
