    Hey guys, me again. I'm going to be making one of the longest threads you've probably seen proposing a new gamemode called arcade, the arcade would eventually have around 12 games hopefully. I have mentioned 6 below. But first, what is arcade. Arcade is sort of like mcparty but with slightly longer games and hopefully more fun games. Most people who play Minecraft now have less time meaning they want to hop on and play a few games for maybe 10 minutes. The best way to make a big server is by having an arcade or minigame server. (2 of the largest servers in the world have these). I think this would be very popular on brawl so I have tried to make 6 starter games, obviously they would need tweaking.

    Jail Escape:
    16 Players - 4 Guards/12 Prisoners
    Estimated game time - 4-5 minutes.

    This is a bit similar to a minigame called run from the beast however, I implemented a bit of sabotage and hg into it and I feel like I have made interesting and fun minigame. It may be slightly complicated but I think maybe some tips and instructions while playing could be cool.

    Prisoners start in a prison cell and 3 random prisoners get selected to start a conversation, the conversation would be like: Prisoner1(IGN though instead of prisoner1): Guys, we should try to escape soon.
    Prisoner2: Hmm, I’m not sure, I think we should look for a good opportunity first.
    Prisoner3: Look, all of the guards are asleep!
    2 guards sit on either side of the cell door, need to have blindness for 30 seconds. Each guard has full iron armour, a diamond sword and 16 arrows.
    Prisoner1: Let's get out of this hell hole!
    Prisoners get teleported to the start of a parkour map, the parkour should be able to be finished within 1-2 minutes, if a prisoner falls off, they get blindness for 2 seconds before being tped to the place where they fell off and then they get slowness for 1 second.
    20 seconds after the prisoners escape the guards wake up, the guards get tped to the start of the parkour map and they must complete it, if they fall off they get blindness for 2 seconds before being tped to the place where they fell off and then they get slowness for 1 second. Guards cannot kill prisoners while they are doing the parkour.
    When a prisoner finishes the parkour, they get teleported to an outside map of about 100by100, in this map there are 25-50 chests with loot. Here are some percentages for loot 40%leather armour or wooden sword, 20%golden armour or gold sword, 15% chainmail armour or stone sword, 5% iron armour or iron sword, 5% bow, 10% 1-5 arrows, 5% healing potion or speed potion. There can be between 1-3 things in a chest.
    When a guard finishes the parkour, a timer of 1 minute begins, this means that in a minute, everyone alive will be teleported to a death match arena. However, before then guards can kill prisoners in the 100x100 map where all the chests are, but the prisoners can kill the guards too. If a guard dies, the gear won't be dropped and vice versa. All guards and prisoners who haven't finished the parkour by the 1 minute mark, die.
    The death match is a 30-40 diameter circle, the guards remaining spawn in the centre of the arena while the remaining prisoners spawn on a podium out of the 12 podiums. After a 3 second countdown, the death match begins, it's a normal death match except after every 5 seconds, the map border shrinks by 3 blocks on each side, if you are in the map border you start bleeding (wither effect, 2 hearts go away every second). The survivors win.
    You can earn credits by:
    Completing the parkour - 1 credit
    Killing a Prisoner - 2 credits
    Killing a Guard - 3 credits
    Winning the game - 5 credits
    Staying the whole game - 1 credit

    Kings:
    16 Players - 4 teams of 4 players (Yellow, Green, Red, Blue)
    Estimated game time - 4-5 minutes

    In this minigame, I aimed to create a fast paced PvP game involving fast paced and strategic gameplay. One way you could win is by defending your king who kills everyone because the king is the most important player in the game. I think this would be enjoyable to play because there are multiple strategies and it would be good for practising pvp.

    Players from each team spawn in the corner of map (yellow in one corner etc). The map is around 70x70 with each team having a spawn in each corner.
    One person from each team is selected to be the king, they are the most important thing in this game. The king gets, full diamond armour with a golden helmet and team dependent dyed leather boots, he also gets a diamond sword. Soldiers get full iron except for team dependent dyed leather boots, he also gets an iron sword.
    Every time you get a kill you get regenened by 3 hearts or up to max health and you get regen 2 for 2 seconds after. The team that gets 100 Souls the quickest wins the game. You can get Souls by killing people. Here are the Soul stats:
    Killing a soldier as a soldier - 1 Soul
    Killing a king as a soldier - 5 Souls
    Killing a soldier as a king - 2 Souls
    Killing a king as a king - 3 Souls
    But there's more! Every minute a boss will spawn in the middle, whoever kills it gets 10 Souls for their team. When a king dies, a random player on that team is selected to be king and when the past king respawns, he is a soldier again. It takes 3 seconds to respawn after you die.
    You can earn Credits by:
    Killing a king - 3 Credits
    Killing a soldier - 1 Credit
    Winning the game - 5 Credits
    Staying the whole game - 1 Credit

    Wither War:
    16 Players - All vs All
    Estimated game time - 3 minutes

    I wanted this to be a fun game with different abilities, there could be different ways of using the abilities and I think it would be fun jumping around and exploring the map while fighting!

    Each player gets disguised as a wither. Each player gets 2 rows of hearts instead of 1 (20 hearts). In their inv they have leather armour dyed black but to other players they look like a Wither. The wither gets 3 things in their hotbar, an iron sword, a Wither skeleton head and a compass.
    The iron sword when you hit another player deals the amount of damage a sword does,.
    When you right click the sword, 3 wither skeletons spawn, they all have black dyed leather armour but no helmet. The minion deals 1 heart per hit and 3 seconds of wither effect. This ability has a 12 second cooldown. Wither skeletons have 5 hearts and are fairly weak.
    The wither skeleton head when right clicked throws a Wither skull/explosion thing at the area the wither is facing. The explosion deals 4 hearts to any Wither and 3 hearts to any Minion in 2x2 radius of the explosion. The explosion destroys blocks in a world edit sphere size 3 around the explosion point. The blocks regenerate after 4 seconds. This ability has a 5 second cooldown.
    The wither skeleton head when left clicked sends a shower of 5 arrows in the area the wither is facing. If an arrow lands on another wither it deals 1 heart and gives wither effect for 3 seconds, if 2 arrows land it deals 2 hearts and a Wither effect lasts for 3 seconds and so on. If an arrow hits a minion, it deals 1 heart. This has a 5 second cooldown.
    Withers cannot fly however they can double jump, when they double jump they get boosted by 6 blocks, there is a cooldown of 1 second between any double jumps.
    The wither with the most kills within 3 minutes wins, there are 2nd and 3rd place finishes as well.
    When you die, you will be teleported to a small pit where you must wait for your body to reform, after 3 seconds you will get teleported back to the arena.
    You can earn credits by:
    Killing a Wither - 2 Credits
    Coming 1st - 5 Credits
    Coming 2nd - 3 Credits
    Coming 3rd - 2 Credits
    Staying the whole game - 1 Credit

    Build Time:
    16 players - All vs All
    Estimated game time - 6 minutes

    I aimed for a classic building mini game while making it a little bit more specific, I think the themes should be a little easier than most servers ones (fish rather than pufferfish but them could be dead, live,swimming etc). I think letting the players be able to use async world edit in their plot could be cool too but only an addition.

    All players are given a 50x50 area to build in. Everyone has 5 minutes to build. At the start of the game everyone is given a Build and a theme, there could be different matches for themes and builds so here's a list of some ideas.
    Build: Theme:
    House. Medieval
    House Elven
    House. Modern
    A build could have multiple options of themes like suggested above but only one theme can be chosen at a time, I would suggest 20 builds and 3-5 themes for each build to make it slightly more random.
    After the 5 minutes are up, all of the builds will be paired up randomly, each pair of builds would be put next to each other and you would select the one that goes into the next round, it then repeats until a winner is chosen. Pretty simple!
    You can earn Credits by:
    Getting to Round 1: 10 Credits
    Getting to Round 2: 12 Credits
    Getting to Round 3: 15 Credits
    Getting to The Final: 20 Credits
    Winning: 25 Credits
    Staying the whole game: 1
    (Awards for getting to Round do not add up, that is the total)

    Build and Battle:
    16 Players - 2 teams of 8
    Estimated game time - 5-6 minutes
    I wanted this to be a fast paced game while remaining an enjoyable PvP experience and a strategy based area (placing the blocks). I think this could be really fun for people to just hop on and have some fun!

    There are 2 teams, both have a a 32x64 area to build on. Each player gets 32 wool for the building part. The building part lasts 30 seconds, in this time players must place their team coloured wool to make a fort or anything they want. After the 30 seconds are up they must fight in the battle arena.
    The team that gets the most kills within 5 minutes wins. Every time you die it takes 3 seconds to respawn. Before the whole game begins, you must choose 1 of the 3 kits, here they are:
    Warrior - Fully team coloured leather armour, stone sword, bow with 1 arrow that respawns 9 seconds after use, wool team coloured gets another every 9 seconds, shears.
    Archer - Fully team coloured leather armour, wooden sword, bow with 3 arrows, 1 arrow respawns every 3 seconds, shears.
    Builder - Fully team coloured leather armour, wooden sword, bow with 1 arrow that respawns 9 seconds after use, wool team coloured gets another every 3 seconds, shears.

    When you shear a wool block, the wool will drop as the teams colour it was before but if you pick it up it will change to your colour.

    Every kill you get gives you a coin, when you get 10 coins you can change your kit by going to your team spawn and clicking the zombie holding a sword (warrior) bow (archer) wool block (builder). If you click on the zombie it will ask you if you want to change and then if you click yes, you change kit and lose the 10 coins. However, this doesn't mean that your team will lose kills from this.
    You can earn credits by:
    2 kills - 1 Credit
    Placing all 32 wool blocks - 2 Credits
    Getting 20 kills - 5 Credits
    Winning - 5 Credits
    Staying the whole game - 1 Credit

    Mini Slither:
    16 Players - All vs All
    Estimated game time - 2-5 minutes

    A fun quick version of Slither, hopefully less laggy too. I wanted this to be short and snappy, different power ups and boosters, different ways of using them.

    This is a smaller version of Slither .io from brawl, the map here is a 130 diameter circle, in this game though there are more power ups. Anyway, everyone starts off as a snake with 1 sheep. Every 8 seconds you get 1 sheep. If you hit another snake with your head you are out, if a snake hits any part of you they are out.
    On the floor there are different things, here are the things that might spawn.
    Dropped Wool Block - Every 4 seconds, one of these spawn, when you go over it you get another sheep, these spawn randomly across the map.

    Dropped Speed Potion - Every 5 seconds, one of these spawn, when you go over it your speed mana bar fills up (explain use later), these spawn randomly across the map.

    Beacon - Every 20 seconds, one of these spawn and in chat it says Power Up has spawned! , to open it your must go over it with your head, when you go over it will say in chat Power Up is (Switch, Avoid, Stealth)!, these spawn randomly across the map.

    Switch - A Steve head goes into your inventory, when you right click it, your head will be the tail of the snake and the tail would be the head.

    Avoid - A Nether star appears in your inventory, when you right click this if you hit a snake during the next 3 seconds, you will be immune from dying.

    Stealth - You go invisible for 3 seconds but if a snake is nearby they will get a message saying, A snake nearby is invisible, watch out!

    If you hold shift for a second you will get speed 1, each second you hold shift your speed bar goes down by 1 bit (there are 5 bits), this means you can get speed for 5 seconds.
    You can earn Credits by:
    Killing another Snake - 5 Credits
    Getting a Power Up - 1 Credit
    3rd place - 2 Credits
    2nd place - 5 Credits
    1st place - 10 Credits
    Staying the whole game - 1 Credit

    I know this was a long read but I really do think this would be a good alternative, replacement for party or a new gamemode on brawl. Most popular games are around 3-6 minutes long and all the games here are about that time, some are a little complicated and could be made simpler. I think adding a new game every 3-5 weeks and adding 2-5 maps every 3-5 weeks would be good to keep the games fresh. Also, these are just rough ideas, many of the cooldowns and abilities would require testing. This is the sort of style most large servers have and although it's good to be unique, I think if brawl is going to become a large server again, they must implement a minigame arcade system like this.

    Honestly I feel that it would be just as easy to add these to party and just create longer versions from there. Party should adapt it's games. I like the ideas of the minigames though.
