    Hi!
    I just wanted to throw the idea out there that on the MinecraftBuild servers there should be a feature added so the server automaticly backs up every 5 or so minutes. If the server crashes, you loose all your progress on your map from that session. This is extremely annoying and something like that could help fight this, as the servers crash very frequently. The only current way to combat this is for a staff member to perform /save-all.
    I'm throwing this out there because I literally just lost 7 hours of progress and this happens to me all the time... sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining.

    I agree with you Trev, It would solve a lot of arguments and people saying in Global "What happened to all my stuff I just built". I think that's a great thing to add.

    The problem with this is that those backups would take the server's processing power away from actually hosting and keeping it active and redirect it to downloading the world as it is. This would eventually cause a ton of lag every time the server was backing itself up and would lead to, in the end, more confusion.

    I like the idea. It makes me not feel safe when building. But as Obama said this would cause lag and the server already lags a TON.

    I think it would be a good idea as I frequently find that if there is a map with a large amount of world edit being done, all of that will be lost if the server doesn't save.

    I think a /save command for individual players would be more effective. This would make it so everyone is reliable for their own map, and, (I think,) it would cause less lag.

    Without experience, I would say its a great idea, but after being griefed a few times im going to have to be against it, because I think you should control whether your map saves or not. And I also should point out that Brawl only keeps one backup, so if you get griefed, and the map saves, the ungriefed version is gone.

    In a way I disagree with you. It is your fault ou were griefed, but not that your map was unsaved. I agree with Legolover, that there should be a /save command.
