Bigger map/Like more dayz

I agree. I believe the map could be a bit bigger, although I'm sure some of that decision was made because of my low tolerance of the current map. Playing it so long makes me want a new map. Having said that I do believe we need a bigger map, and possibly a remake of the dayz map Chernarus. One downfall to a bigger map is less pvp, obviously. If we spread the players out even more, then there will be less pvp and more pve. So possibly to contradict that we could have less servers that had more RAM. Basically allowing the same amount of players to play but having it so they are forced to have more people on the server. That would be my reasoning against the argument about players spread out, but who says we need as much pvp as we do now? I am not an expert at the official Dayz only having played it a few times, but from what I heard I understand it's a lot more about surviving from the environment than from other people. So possibly the bigger map would be better, really just depends on what the players want. Do they want more pvp, or more pve.

This is an excellent idea. Not only would the limited amount of servers force more players to play on one server, but it would also add more RAM to the servers, allowing for more space. It would be great to have a rather large map, with 50-70 players online. This would make surviving that much more exciting. Good idea.

 

A bigger map would be great because they could add more than just two zone 6's.

Yeah the map needs to be expanded maybe a custom biome ? Like a ice world

 

I also agree. WarZ is meant to be DayZ in minecraft, after all.

 

Its already hard to find enemies on the actual map, so if you make the map bigger you should also make the servers bigger.

 

If we do make the map bigger, and it turns into a PvE, then I feel we should add a few more mobs, or update the current AI. I say this because if there will be less PvP, then environment battles should be more fun, entertaining, and challenging. A stupid idea could be /pvp arena, which teleports you into a safe zone and then into an arena to duke it out. There is nothing wrong with the current AI remember.

 

Hmm, I did put this idea up that we remake the hole dayz map but that would be 14700 x 14700, Too big but, a bigger map YES, but PvE, i dont wont becuase then MVP kids can just farm neather and get tones of stuff then log back onto PvP, Any way i would love a bigger map

 

They used to have 2 servers with 90 player limit.

I believe the 50cal can't shoot though the vines is because vines count as a block, even if it isn't a solid block. It's the same thing with water too, except that the bullet travels a lot slower then traveling through an air block.

I stopped playing WarZ because they stopped updating it and I know everything in the map and it is 1.7 so I can't play anyway :/

 

Stopped updating it? A warz update comes once in a great while. They never updated it continuously, they may have fixed a bug or something small but never did a big update back to back. A warz update is planned and is coming, be patient.
