    Now, a while ago there was this glitch when you could exploit maps by doing couple of things...so I have an idea of creating spectator mode. This would disable any gun damage along with invisibility effect, so people won't see you.
    +
    You could record trailers of mc-war and clan.
    You could spectate the round instead of just sitting in spawn and doing nothing.
    You would also have a compass that could take you back to lobby, and when game is over, you would be tped back to spawn.

    -
    This would result exploiting and spot searching.
    This would be a donor only feature.
    Expect some glitches or bugs.

    Extra details.
    You could do /spectate in order to spectate the round.
    Compass can take you back in lobby.
    This is gonna require some serious coding though.

    NOTICE: this would be donor-only feature cuz it's just too op...

    Snowballs currently won't noclip through players, even if invisible, but we're working on it.

    Like this man says, at the moment spectators will just serve as an annoyance, blocking player's snowballs.

    Yes but there is a plugin (minecraftparty) where spectators can't go below a specific block hight, plus they already have it on one of their servers.

    Make it non-donor, because if we want to make a trailer, we shouldn't have to pay.

    I have seen a plugin on another server which lets arrows go though spectators, but I am not sure if this applies to snowballs. But think of it this way, how much would this cost, would it be a monthly payment, would you buy it, and would it sell well. I guess you could combine this with VIP and MVP, because then you get a little bonus.

    on the test server you have an option for joining the lobby at any point durin the game so no real need for spectating though this would be nice.

    On another PVP server you would be teleported a few blocks above the arrow if it hit you but it would just keep going

    Exactly. On the next Mc-Warfare update, you can click the milk bucket and join mid-game. This kind of defeats the purpose of this if you ask me. Maybe, if you didn't want to join mid-game and just wanted to spectate (for like you said, clan trailers, ect.), then this would be a useful idea.
    But then you also have this problem to think about. Good idea, there are just some flaws.

    What about something like in mcparty? For those of you who don't know, in mcparty the player flies above a map once eliminated, and cant go up or down. Maybe this would work until the noclip issue with snowballs is worked out.

    I agree with some people. They should make spectating mode similar to mcparty and that shall work, and they should all be vanished.

    non-donor might get overused, maybe 31+ unlocks spectating?

    And how would making it donor only make it non-op? There are so many donators that there's really no use saying donor only.
