An idea for kits

    This idea should only take place after a lot of kits are removed, so new players have less trouble deciding kits.

    Anyway, the idea is to be able to pick two kits before the game, and have two kits active during the game. The usual kit selector will appear, but instead of one emerald to pick the kit, there would be two, named Kit 1 and Kit 2. Doesn't really matter which is 1 and 2, both will take effect at the same time.

    A player can pick two of the same kits too, just that it may not be the wisest choice, except for certain cases. Examples are listed below

    Boxer+Boxer: the description says: "Incoming damage reduced by half a heart". So, as both kits will take effect, incoming damage will be reduced by a total of 1 heart (Kit 1: -0.5, Kit 2: -0.5). However, for the fists, as the description says "Fists do almost as much as a wood sword (which is wrong, as fists do 2.5)", fists wouldn't do 5 hearts, it would do 2.5 still. This is because the description didn't state that fists would do 2 hearts extra (or if you want to compare to the bracketed part earlier, there's no + or - symbol) (Kit 1: 2.5, Kit 2: 2.5, no +/-2.5).

    Now you may ask if ^ works with Viking
    Viking /Viking: "Axes do half a heart more damage than their sword counterpart" Unless Viking has a secret ability that increases sword damage, Viking wouldn't be changed, axes would remain at 0.5 more than the sword equivalent.

    Kanga/Kanga: Kanga would give you a rocket with 150 uses, so double Kanga would give you 2 rockets, each with 150 uses. The same thing would work for kits with kit items (eg: Grappler, Phantom (you can fly twice), Demoman, etc)

    Spirit/Spirit: The description says "7 min after the game starts", not +7 min, so its pretty much useless to go this combo

    Backup/Backup: Two kit selector books

    Surprise/Surprise: Surprise twice

    What about weird combos?

    Specialist/Miner: Not going to get XP from coal, no change to that

    Achilles/*anything*: Same as Achilles, but with another kit effect

    Rogue/*anything*: "temporarily disable your opponent's ability", wouldn't affect your other kit effect.

    Not that the idea is bad, it would take to much time and dev time to figure out which ones are op and shouldn't be allowed. On top of that how would certain kits work with each other.

    There will be a huge change to HG, and from what I know, one of that is removing a lot of kits, so it's not too much for the devs to think of which to remove, coz there should be a lot of community input.

    If you're talking about OP, basically, no combo is disallowed, so it's all down to the people to think of good ones.

    For how kits will work on top of each other, there wouldn't be changes to the individual kits, just that the two abilities are active at the same time.

    What's wrong with this? Sounds like an anti-team and anti-fall kit

    I just think that if this idea was to take place it would give players a hard time while in combat as lets say assassin and urgal - that would insta kill you... I think? Anyway the point i'm making is that the idea could be improved like one kit wears off over the 10 minute mark or you can only use special kits together that aren't really op.

    That would be OP as hell, so I think kits need a rating system.

    This is going towards the realm of custom kits, which was absolutely awesome in Phoenix and I'd love to see something like this added. Just being able to choose to kits would be just as confusing, but not quite as strategic and awesome as it could be, however.

    I just don't like some of the insane potential this could give.
    Endermage+Hulk plus another person means you can have 4 trapping kits in one...
    Or imagine Achilles and Boxer against a stone sword.
    I say we make a kit rating system and advertise it.

    I had a different idea. It goes something like this:
    You can choose any kit for the first kit.
    You can only choose defensive kits for the second one like boxer or toolmaster
