Automatic questions answers.

Hey brawlers.
Firstly, I just want to say that this thread is sharing an idea mainly useful for staff, but I'm open for everyone's opinions.

So, I'm here to share an in-game idea I had, which could help staff, and give them less to-do. If you are Jmod, mod or any other staff member, you have the job to answer the people questions, that's normal. But why not removing this task with a plugin which automatically answers the basic questions the new players always ask? I mainly play war, so here are some examples:

- How do I buy guns?/How can I buy guns?/...
--> You need to go to your ender eye in your inventory bar, then click the anvil.
same story for "How do I change guns?"

- How do I play?
--> Read the book in your inventory bar, or the signs behind the spawn.

- How do I launch an EMP/Nuke?
--> You need to kill 15/21 players in a row, without dying.

- What does FFA/Tdm/Ctf mean?
--> It means Free For All/Team Death Match/Capture the flag.

- How do I reload my gun?
--> You need to press your drop control key (initially Q)

- How do I buy donor guns?
--> You can't anymore.

- How do I buy grenades/armor?
--> You need to do /war buy grenade/armor.

Thoughts? Maybe you have more ideas for auto answers?

The auto answer act like a /msg, only the player can see it. The plugin will not affect the other players.

Long time I haven't got a highly developed answer like yours ;p
Joking, it's fine that you like my idea.

Maybe we can code the plugin so that it answers to the question if a player say "how", "buy" and "gun/guns" in one sentence? Of course, it's like an anti-cheat, it can't be perfect and will maybe not work everytime.

 

That's the only problem with this idea, it can't work everytime, but the players usually write well the basic words such as "guns","how", and "buy".

 

Can another staff member come sharing his/her opinion about that? Don't forget that this thread is focused for staff.
