So here is a guide to my personal top kits.
Most of this is opinion, although honestly it's fact in some cases.

    Viking:
    • What does it do:
    • Viking allows you to deal half an additional heart with an axe.
    • Essentially, a stone axe does iron sword damage. An iron axe does diamond sword damage. And a diamond axe does diamond sword plus Sharpness I damage.
    • Additionally, your axe takes sword, not tool, durability damage.
    • Why is it strong:
    • This kit is very strong for a single reason: damage breakpoints. You can two-shot someone with an iron axe if you crit.
    • Additionally, you only need 3 stone (and no waiting) to get an iron sword.
    • You can also not block-hit, which can be a problem in hole-fights, but you can still use the knockback-enhancer (
      ) with right-click.
    Airdrop:
    • What does it do:
    • You begin with a flare that calls down a chest, which can contain just about anything.
    • Every kill you get, you receive another flare.
    • Why is it strong:
    • This is a very balanced and strong kit. It is slightly numbers-based, but if you get a few kills you will have some iron. Sometimes you need to smelt it, but that is not a problem.
    • You can also get your mushrooms at the start and call an airdrop, and you'll get stone 14/15 times (tested that myself), meaning you can save time on getting a pickaxe. You might even get a pickaxe anyways.
    Scout:
    • What does it do:
    • With Scout, you start with 2 Speed II potions that last for 90 seconds each. When you are splashed, you can only take a maximum of 2 hearts of fall damage.
    • Additionally, you regain 1 Speed pot every ten minutes (which personally is too much).
    • Why is it strong:
    • This is a very skill-related kit to be honest. If you play Speed 1v1s every now and again, you can destroy absolutely shred anyone.
    • You can use your fall damage removal to take on towers very well.
    • If you use your Speed pots at the start, you can get to an area of interest (a pyramid, a swamp) quickly and then be able to get the pots back later.
    • This is one of the only kits where you can get your kit items back after respawning (the others being Chemist and Endermage) after the removal of the mini-feast kit items.
    • That kit may come as a surprise for some of you that know me :stuck_out_tongue:
    Anchor:
    • What does it do:
    • You take absolutely no knockback from in-hand attacks (mobs, players, explosions) and deal no knockback with your sword etc.
    • NOTE: Neither of these apply to projectiles.
    • Why is it strong:
    • Is there a tower? Get maged up and just chill there, smacking people around is no longer a problem.
    • If you are like me and your refills are very good but you don't combo well, this is the absolute kit for you. You can just sit there and let you opponent try and get away.
    • You cannot escape from or as an Anchor. Keep that in mind.
    • If you want to take out teams, find a ravine and stand on the edge, then wait for the team. They will probably knock each other in by accident.
    Gladiator:
    • What does it do:
    • You begin with some iron bars that, when right-clicked on somebody, will teleport you and your chosen target into a glass arena. This box is unbreakable. You can escape the box in 3 ways: death, victory, or using the following kits: Blink, Flash, and Endermage (not sure on the last one). You can also tower out of the arena, but you will take fall damage when you get down.
    • Why is it strong:
    • This is one of the most versatile kits and quite possibly the best anti-teaming kit.
    • You can take out towers by getting maged up. After killing the person, you have invincibility in which you cannot be hit but you can kill others. Time to get those towers!
    • Teams are very easy to kill, as you can single out one of the team members. Be careful of the cooldown when you get out of the arena though!
    • If you get maged into a trap, you can Gladiate one of the trappers and kill them. If it is a Hulk trap, always get the Hulk first.
    Boxer:
    • What does it do:
    • Your fist does wood sword damage (and gives a sweet "clunk" sound when you hit someone with it .
    • You take half a heart less damage from all sources except fall and fire damage.
    • Why is it strong:
    • Honestly, I don't think this kit needs explanation.
    Thor:
    • What does it do:
    • You begin with a wooden axe (unbreakable) that when right-clicked calls down lightning that spawns fire and does damage below y=70 and spawns netherrack and does damage above y=70. The damage is always 3 hearts I believe.
    • Thoring netherrack will make it blow up with half the power of TNT.
    • Why is it strong:
    • The damage can be applied to multiple enemies.
    • The damage is true damage, so it goes through armour.
    • You can also set people on fire, which means they cannot run.
    • If someone is running, you can Thor them as it does no knockback.
    • Towers are literally dead with this kit.
    • You can also farm wood very quickly ith this, making it a strong kit for all times of the game.

    Hope you enjoyed!
Leave a rating, and tell me your favorite kits!
