Adjusting My Strategy

    I try to mitigate my losses if I get caught by a sheriff or killed. I wear gold armor and carry a Carcano, but I feel like the Carcano isn't enough fire power. Would it be alright to carry a Model instead, or is that too much of a loss if I get caught or die?

    Using a Model is definitely worth it. If that's too expensive, you should probably use a Mauser, the the other guns are rather obselete. Very rarely should you have to buy guns, I got the majority of mine from killing other players.

    I think I've made close or around 40,000g in drugs since I resigned.

    Model everyday, even when I was poor. I ran around full leather with a model/twegehr or... Used to. Now, I'm broke and starving. No point carrying a carcano. I've only killed 3 full diamonds total with carcano (before reset)

    The Carcano actually does quite decent damage for its RPM. It three shots sheriffs, and bandits can quite easily make 2.5k off of the head.

    Also, I'm wanting to exchange the Carcano because I feel as though it is inaccurate, even up close.

    The Carcano and Blunderbuss should definitely switch prices.

    It's dead accurate aimed in, just don't no scope a rifle.... Applies to both twegehr and carcano.

    You can no scope the Repeater and it's still pretty accurate.

    The Carcano can kill a sheriff if you hit them will all five shots in it's clip. Three headshots is death as well. If you want the most bang for your buck for the least ammount of risk bounty-wise, I would go with this loadout:

    Armor: Indian (don't bother wearing D with it. The repeater one-shot headshots everything up to D helm, indian chestplate, d leggings, and d feet)

    5 meds (this loadout was never meant to last in long fights. You can be one-shot by the repeater.)

    Carcano (T-G is expensive and the Carc is your next best thing for long range fighting. You can even forgo this gun altogether if you want to due to how good the model is.)

    Model (Kills sheriffs very quickly. Worth the price and bounty.)


    To make the most of this loadout, never engage sheriffs at long range. Never fire a shot until they are close enough for you to kill them with your model. Make them come to you, and stick to enclosed spaces. If you play your cards right, by the time you begin firing, it's usually too late for them to take aim and headshot you. Remember, the model can two-shot full kevlar.

    but you don't know how hard it is to hit 3 headshots in a roll, when you can get 1 shotted, and you're trying to get a 3 shot when you're in indian, noobs fight sheriffs = dreams, pros fight sheriffs = not easy , pros 1v1 sheriffs = eZZZ

    I'm beginning to think the model is too expensive.
    @randomcitizen1, is the Mauser's firerate the same, more, or less than the Carcano's?

    I think the Mauser is better than the Carcano. It's firerate is almost twice as fast. It maybe slightly weaker but it's firerate makes up for that. It's accuracy when no-scoping is way better.
