Alright ladies and gents, Verlyn here, and I want to teach you guys how to rule the server. Now before I start, this thread only serves as guideline to becoming powerful. The amount of determination and effort you put in it will decide whether you will succeed or not. While you might not be the best, you will become strong enough to hold your ground.

Now let’s get into the basics first.

    Teams

The foundation of your strength. Your team is the sum of the strength of all your members within. When choosing team members, you should always rank them in the following order

    Trustability > Resourcefulness > Strength.

Being trustworthy is the number one priority. It only takes one backstabbing member to months of hard work.

Resourcefulness is the second most important thing. A player’s willingness to assist a struggling teammate or willingness to share his items is ten times more useful than a player that is good at PvP.

Strength is the last most important quality. Being smart and skilled enough to handle yourself in a PvP battle is always a must.

    Headquarters

Next is your team HQ. A small and efficient HQ is better than a large mansion. Make sure you constantly renew your weekly rent, don’t let it go below twenty-four hours or you'll risk losing it.

    Making Money

Okay so now to get into the most important part. After you have a team base and a good amount of members (3+), start your focus on making money. Money = Power. The richer your team is, the more possibility you have. Here are some ways to make money.

    a. Drugs

Drugs are the quickest way to make money, but by far the most dangerous. The first step to processing drugs is going to the drug field, which can be found on your compass. Next, harvest the plants that you find. Once you have a decent amount of unprocessed drugs, find the drug processor for that specific type of drug. Be careful, other players might already be processing.

    Output values:

Shrooms(Ellsworth): 2.75 second processing time, sells for 11G. Good for solo, with horse ready.

Coco(Harshaw): 3.5 second processing time, sells for 20G. Good with friends.

Poppy(Shaniko) 3 second processing time, sells for 14G. Good with friends.

Tobacco(Amarillo): 2.5 second processing time, sells for 8G. Good for solo, with horse ready.

Wildgrass(Frisco): 4 seconds processing time, sells for 25G. Good for team/friends.

Newer players should stick to tobacco and shrooms, as they generally receive very little traffic. The more advanced players should stick with doing poppy, coca, and wildgrass runs.

NOTE: If you a see a sheriff, always run unless you are prepared to fight. Don’t stand there and watch your hopes fade away when he/she immobilizes you and sends you to prison. Remember, the sheriff cannot shoot you on sight, unless you attack him/her. Running, usually, is the smartest option.

    b. Indians

Indians are modified skeletons, they guard teepees that hold valuable items. Indians are generally easy kills, invest your money into a Carcano with 128 bullets. Though this may seem risky, the NPCs won’t return fire if you remain at 20+ blocks away. Be sure to line up headshots, as it will conserve the amounts of bullets you use. Once you cleared the area, be sure to loot the chests, as they contain unique armor and other valuable items.

Indians drop 5-10 gold ingots, which equate to 45-90g. As a Carcano two shots an Indian, you would be making your money invested in the ammo and more.

    c. Conductors

Robbing conductors is the safest, but the most inefficient way to earn money. It rewards you with 1500G, but gives you a staggering 4000 bounty. This practice is also illegal, meaning that sheriffs are permitted to arrest you and ticket you. Another downside to this is the fact that each conductor can only be robbed every thirty minutes. However, this timer resets every reboot, so rob these guys to your heart's content, or until you learn your lesson.

    d. Cartels

An unreliable source of income, controlling these will allot you 5% income of any drugs that are sold of the same drug cartel you control.

For example: Team CROW controls the wildgrass cartel, and Johnny sells four processed wildgrass, each worth 25g. Johnny earns 100g, and since Team CROW controls the wildgrass cartel, they are rewarded 5g, which is 5% of 100g. This money is automatically deposited into a team's bank, and can be withdrawn through the command /team withdraw [money amount].

    E. Heads

Headhunting simple way to make some extra pocket cash. Each person has a bounty depicted above their avatar. When they die, they will drop a head that will have the players bounty inscripted on it. If the head has a bounty that exceeds 750g, you can take it to the headhunter and sell it. For every five bounty it has, the seller earns one gold. All sheriff heads are worth 2,500G.

    Compass

Mastery of your compass is essential to succeeding in Wild West. Play around with its features, get acquainted with locations around the map. This is more intuitive and hands on, so I will not go into further detail.

    PvP strategies

Horseback/Guerilla: Generally the most efficient way of having the upper hand in fights. Being on horseback ensures that you have superior mobility to a grounded players, which gives you infinite opportunities to initiate lightning quick guerilla attacks. Never charge head on, always engage in crooked patterns, make it living hell for your enemy to land a shot. When your opponent does land a lucky shot, generally, the horse will take the shot for you, and you will be able to proceed on foot with full hearts.

Camping: Generally, while camping, you’ll have the element of surprise, the main factor in deciding the victor and loser in battles. Push your advantage, and make sure that your opponent drops before he/she is able to return fire or hide and regen.

Strafing: Like in swords, strafing is essential to landing clean shots and avoiding any incoming blows. Move in random directions while exchanging fire, successfully confuse your opponent and you’ll definitely turn out victorious.

    Take the following items:
    Full Diamond Armor Set
    Whiskey, Morphine, Processed Shrooms (optional)
    Food, Splints, Bandages
    PLENTY OF MEDICINE
Your pick: Model (high fire rate) or Sawed-Off(insane damage), it depends primarily on your style of play
    T-Gewehr
    Shotgun and Rifle Ammo

Now go ahead and stroll into Wildgrass Base(cause that's where the cool kids go). Make sure to have a smug, condescending look on your face like you're better than everyone else. Challenge your opponents! Yell "PvP at Wildgrass base!!!!11!!one!!" Always be with at least a buddy or two. Use the environment to your advantage. Play it safe and don't let your health go more than half way.

    Best of luck!

Nice guide! Maybe more information about sheriffs would be great but it's complete enough to start playing.

Not really, maybe if you can add more information about sheriffs or the link of the sheriff handook would be cool and useful.

Hey, I agree this is a good guide, but who is very trust worthy anymore? I think you should also give a the Mauser some credit! The Mauser can cause some serious combos with its high speed shooting!

Nike's monopoly was the whole reason behind me making this guide. I wanted to give the newer players a good foundation to start off with.
Trust is a rather tenuous thing, I agree. However, I tend to favor the players that have similar play-styles to mine, which value mutual player respect above all else, over all other players. Those are the people that I have faith in and recruit.

On the topic of the Mauser, I haven't used it in quite some time, so I wouldn't know. :3
