    Yea, I got banned from TeamSpeak. Why would I, not only get banned from the teamspeak, but post it on the forums? Well one, it was false and completely biased. Two I reported it to staff members who either ignore me for days or can't do anything. Who I'm sure didn't see it because so many people bother her.

    I won't name the mod who banned me but when someone says this in a channel with no one but only friends
    "(Mod), I'm going to ddoosss you"
    "With my baseball bat"

    I'm pretty sure it is a joke... BUT THANKS FOR THE BAN.
    I either want a punishment for him since he has had PLENTY of time to fix this and has talked to other staff about it. He doesn't want to admit he was wrong about it. It is kinda annoying that he can just do whatever he wants at this point. So, either an apology written in public, or a demotion back to Moderator. I'd take either one, sooo thanks :grinning:


    This is one of the reasons why I left. The staff team is pretty confused on the word mature. Not everyone but mainly the ones with too much power. So can we please get this fixed



    Also Lord, if you take this down, I will repost it. I know how much you can smell these posts. Like for real though...

    That sounds familiar. PM who it was?
    I've had to deal with a similar situation on the server I moderate on. Someone posted a German pun on DDoSing in chat (even added "jk jk") and a moderator decided to ban him because he thought he hacked against him :confused:

    I tried getting it fix properly but me "Appealing" a bull**** ban while he still thinks he isn't wrong. Isn't going to cut it

    I don't want to start a flame war here but here are my thoughts on this.
    1. I only really punish on ts if it's in a public channel or if it's an open private channel.
    2. This goes with @Uraniumm's comment. Anything ingame, even meant as a joke, are taken seriously. Be careful with what you say.

    TeamSpeak. Channel of ONLY friends, who were also telling jokes. Me and this mod already do not get along.

    Part of being Staff isn't only enforcing rules but knowing when threats are to be taken to a real level. This was in no case anywhere near a threat or something to be provoked. It was a joke, which I told multiple staff members all the time and because it was just random and funny to our joking nature.

    Note: I don't want a war either, I just want this handled already because I'm tired of waiting for a reply from the admins and nothing is being done... but you know. Been like 3 or 4 days now?

    Why would anyone, like seriously, joke about DDoSing? No point, at all. Come on!

    Because my friends who I joke with all the time are use to it. Why wouldn't I joke about it? I'm like the least likely person to do it MrDasky. You of all people shouldn't even think of anything I say that serious.

    Man, still no point in joking about it! I mean you say it and they laugh and like what? You get accepted for saying so or what? Yeah you are the least likely person to do it in my opinion so yeaaah?

    I understand it was a joke, but keep in mind that the staff member that banned you, banned you because you literally said you were going to ddos them. Whether it was with packets or a bat, it was serious stuff to them, especially considering you said you and them have bad blood already. This brings up another question. If you said you two don't get along very well, why would you attempt to poke a sleeping bear and give him any reason to ban you?

    I'd lock this, but it isn't my place to. I'm sure roke can handle this himself.

    Threatening to DDoS another user is under no circumstances allowed, also not as a joke. The circumstances in a private, closed channel are different than those in a public channel. However, "illegal activity or adult content may not be discussed." in private channels as stated in the rules. DDoSing is definitely an illegal activity.
    A 7 day ban is the adequate punishment for a DDoS Threat, so in conclusion none of the provided information shows a staff member doing anything wrong. Thus an apology or even demote is unnecessary.
