Well here it is, Chapter 3. Sorry for the two week long break, I had mid-terms this past week, and was busy with sports and other stuff.

The greatest conflict our world has seen


Chapter 3
The Wind Howls

​

In the alps, it is always Winter. When Summer comes in other places, the alps are always caked with termination dust. Now the two kingdoms are separated by the alps. A group of bandits, or thugs, if you will, live in hideouts, cleverly created, up in the alps. They believe that the secret weapon, buried by the ancient scientists, was theirs, because they buried it on, "their" property.

The thugs had no intent of using this weapon. They kind of worshiped its burial site, as a God. Long ago, it shot forth a huge bright red beacon, and since then, the thugs have worshiped the spot. They can't dig to it, because after the beacon was shot, the "item" was thrust downwards, deep into the earth.

In the present time, the thugs are always on the watch for the "evil kingdoms", who seek their "God", in use of it to destroy each other. The King of the bandits, it named Chaos. He called together a meeting at the sight of their worship place. He called his most trusted Warriors.

He was waiting in the chapel when the string of Warriors arrived. First, came in sjuka, who was nimble, handsome, and skilled with any kind of weapon you put in his hand. Next, came Titanium, who was young, yet not rash. Next, came in Verlyn, who was a small little warrior, but when battle came, the fiercest out of anyone. Next came in Trogs. He was an elder, and was very patient. After Trogs, came tr1kim. He was of a tough stature, with a big long beard. Next came in Gaeilge, who was very young, youngest of the group. He was the son of sjuka. Lastly, came in Foxtastic, who owned a hoard of foxes, or evil dogs.

They walked in and took their seats.

"Thank you all for coming," he began, "I have called you together because I believe the Nomasians and Begurthians have stirred each other, in want of our God. They wish to steal it."

Sjuka, one of Chaos's favorite soldiers, spoke up. "How do you know?"

"Our scouts have lived among the Nomasian commoners, and they believe they are brewing a plan to sack it. Same with the Begurthians," said Chaos.

"Ah," said Titanium. "So there is proof. I say we take the defensive." Titanium was anything but rash.

The rest of the team agreed. Verlyn rubbed his head, "We are small in numbers. These two kingdoms you're talking about, they.. they are the most powerful in the world. How are we going to stop them?"

Chaos grinned, "We aren't. Each other will. We just have to delay each of them, so they arrive at the same time, and destroy each other. We just have to make sure they don't get it. They definitely have the resources. We need to be very careful to not let them get away with it. We need to pull out the snipers this time around, boys."

The whole room murmured, "wicked."

"Well," said Trogs, "We should probably get ready. I mean.. we can't over prepare for a situation like this."

The room was left empty, and the snow began to fall and the wind began to howl, in the dark wilderness surrounding the chapel.
