Censoring Advice

    Hey Brawl, it's your good friend Lionaa here and I have some suggestions for you. Now I your system of censoring clearly doesn't work and you even had to implement a system that if you get over 40 mutes than you get perm banned, therefore there had to clearly be enough disrespectful players in chat to suffice this. So what I recommend is you take some pointers from your rival server Hypixel. On Hypixel they have a system that doesn't even let the bad words come on to the chat, where as Brawl has astrix which clearly shows the players that you have said a curse word, and now letting the players decide if they want to censor. Hypixel has a significant less amount of mods because they do not have to worry about players being disrespectful in chat. If the mods on Brawl say that the coding would be "too difficult" thats bs in my opinion because it takes a very short time and tbh its more efficient that your "system" of censorship. So Brawl just saying you should follow hypixel's way of censoring and the brawl experience will benefit from it.

    Not sure how I feel about this idea, and not sure how the community would feel about this. I think people like to express themselves by swearing sometimes. We have chat mods, and /chatreport for a reason, and that is to keep toxicity in chat to a minimum. Personally, I like the system we have now, and I think a lot of other people do to, so I don't really see a purpose in changing it.
    Did you read what she wrote? She is saying that we block out any bad words, instead of having them just turn into asterisks. That means any message sent with a rude phrase like 'ez', 'kys', or 'hacker', would just not be displayed in chat.

    I like the idea, but I feel like sometimes it can get in the way of things that you may want to say but the plugin confuses the words for a curse word, its happened before. The Astrix that we have now is fine as it is, but chat could definitely be cleaner and less stress for mods to do their work with this in place.

    I like this a lot but I think we should keep the asterisks therefore we can actually clean up the toxic players on brawl, we don't want to show a bad example towards the new members joining brawl.
