Humanity score STILL dropping

    Alright, so when I first started playing I didn't really get the point to the score of humanity, and I was aimlessly killing starting out people. Well, i ranked myself down to -10k humanity.. Well now I'm trying to get this to go up in points by helping others, but then someone will attack me (they hit me first, so I defend myself) and I lose points when I kill them.. Shouldn't I not get points off for defending myself, especially if they're a bandit? I'm trying to be a hero, not a bandit, but my score keeps dropping... It will go down when I'm just collecting or walking, but as soon as I defend myself it drops, I've killed not a single player that isn't a bandit, and only in defense, since I've been trying to get my score up.
    Is it because I'm using guns to defend myself? Because I do have a sword, but I find it better to try and retreat while firing, to take less damage, and less food wasted.
    Any suggestions/help?

    Well, this happened to me too.I have -45K Humanity. A way to boost your humanity is staying alive and not killing people

    I'm actually having this same problem. I was once at around -12K Humanity. A good way to get up is to go to the Nether Town where tons of bandits dwell and just kill them off with a Barrett to get easy Humanity points. Also some great loot! :wink:

    To be honest, keeping a positive humanity is such a pain that I don't bother.

    It doen't do much good anyway. Bandits will still kill you and a hero might if you have good stuff.

    Im actually at -600k humanity, but who the hell cares?
    I dont look at the colour of a nametag, I just kill them!
    If you got a negative humanity this mostly means you are a killer, and thats good :grinning:

    A player will gain humanity points by killing Zombies or healing players. If your humanity is below 0 (?) then it will slowly regenerate over time until it reaches 0(?).

    The blood transfusion allows you to restore antoher players health.
    • Blood bags can't be self administered.
    • they can only be used on other players.
    • 250 (?) humanity points will be received for useing a blood bag.
    • Blood bags restore blood (._.)

    My humanity was -130K the beginning of this week, now it's down to -100K

    Weird because I have the opposite effect. My humanity goes up when I kill someone :V

    Maybe your humanity will go down based on how much they have.
    negative humanity -> You gain humanity
    positive humanity -> You lose humanity

    I hate it when you have high humanity with good loot. Yesterday, i had all but the barret for tier 4 guns with150+ ammo for each gun. I spent 3 hrs collecting it. A team of 5 tires to kill me. I kill allof them in defence and now y humanity is -4000 for killling 5 people trying to kill me. It sucks. Maybe have the humanity rise up when you kill attackers.

    Tip to gaining humanity: Kill lots of zombies, they give you back positive 50 humanity per zombie kill.

    Refrencing to gamemaster,s post, the people who are not bandits should be nice and helpfull. So far, i only met one helpful stranger who guided me and told me how to get good gear. This was 6 months ago. Back on topic: Camp in nether to kill zombies. Nether is like the hub for zombies spawning.

    You can also use bandages to heal other players that are bleeding for a humanity boost.

    Unfortunately, there are no advantages or disadvantages.
    So there is no extra protection etc. from being a hero.

    I have a humanity on about -50K because I do that thing which is funny, kill people. you shouldn't care about humanity, just have fun!
