    As grapples were removed, I think a good replacement would be temporarily place-able ladders. Similar to barb wire, ladders would spawn (maybe in stacks of 2) and could be placed around the map. They are removed with a few gun shots.

    What do you think?

    This would be an interesting change, however I feel this may be too close to lootnetwork.

    Something to consider would be to bring grapples back, but with major nerfs. For example, maybe reduce the uses to 10 per grappling hook or maybe even add in a delay time between grapples. I believe grapples were greatly liked across the community, but the reason why they are frowned upon now is a result of speedgrappling, something that players such as tallscot and myself abused heavily.

    Overall, this suggestion is just: Add back grapples; bring heavy nerfs with it.

    Grapples were removed because they were practically unusable with bad ping. We are trying to find a quick replacement for that and personally I like the idea of ladders. However, they should be rare, or else there would be ladders everywhere.
