Idea Rare Loot Booster Tweak

Earlier today, the Double and Rare Loot Boosters were released. It's been a big hit so far, but in the near future it's easy to tell that there will be some minor changes that will need to be made.

The description of the Rare Loot Booster "Specifically increases the spawn rates of: diamond armor, tier IV guns, all ammo, golden apples, mountain dew, and canned pasta". If I'm interpreting this correctly, it's saying that those are the only items whose spawn rates are increased. If that's not actually how it works, ignore this thread.

While this is great for zone 5-6 areas and makes for good fights with a lot more loot on the line, it creates a capitalist environment in regards to the lack of better armor, guns, and other exclusive items in zones 3-4. I think the Rare Loot Booster should expand to include items such as iron armor in zone 3's, more improved guns such as raising the chance of finding an AWP + M10 in gas (on the new map).

TL;DR Not a major thing, but instead of just raising amount of rare loot in zone 5/6, I think all zones should experience the buff in better gear.

and because we're not going to get new players to join if boosters only benefit people in good areas

 

Oh okay. Maybe I missed it somewhere but from what it said on the shop I thought it meant the items only found in zone 5-6 would be more common.

Thank you for already doing this. My main focus was just having boosters also affect areas like gas station (on both new and old maps) and the zone 4 sand town on the new map. The awp m10 thing was just an example I thought of.

Requesting lock, I guess the issue's resolved, unless people want to use this thread for more discussion on specific item rates.
