My favorite thing in Alaska is the cold. It really helps to prepare you physically and somewhat mentally for cool climates where normal or, as Alaskans call it, “Lower 48" residents would feel cold.

My favorite thing on Brawl was catching hackers and helping keep Wild West running. These days, it's writing literature for members to enjoy while involving them in the stories.

I have multiple favorite staff members, not just a specific one. In no particular order;

There are others that I can't think of currently because I was injured playing hockey this morning, so my head feels like it was dropped on a curb.

I think you're very focused towards Brawl, which isn't bad. You do your job pretty well, and it's great I have someone else in Alaska that enjoys Brawl as much as, or even more than I do.

I actually had a couple offers to write lore for Minecraft servers, I actually started writing for the project that got me demoted, and one of the offers I got for a server was a paying offer. I didn't want the payment, and I didn't accept any of the deals. I also had an offer from my 7th and 8th grade English teachers to get me into a literature school and get some actual writing published for profit, but I was juggling a full schedule already, so I declined.

My favorite food is spaghetti/homemade Italian mac-n-cheese. I love Italian food.


Lately on weekends I get busy with hockey. I've been getting back into playing Destiny and Battlefield 1 on Xbox One, but those are just side hobbies. I used to go shooting guns every weekend, but again, busy schedules.

 

You're very hard working, and you wouldn't know what to do besides media/wiki team without HG. No offense.

And no, I absolutely positively cannot write songs.

 

You are one of the people who inspired me to apply for JMod in the first place, and you were a role model for me in every sense.

And that's a question I'm not going to answer at this time because I'm not exactly sure.

I do think Putty can bring back Brawl. If he can't, at least he will have made a better effort than Chap (I know some efforts were probably made, but Putty does a better job of making the work seen and interacting with the community)

I've never played the game or read the books. The main interaction I've had with it was your stories. It seems really cool though.

You're a person who really cares about CTF, and if you hadn't leaked that Necro rework (no offense) you probably would have gotten JMod. I do think if you applied now, though, given the amount of time since that happened, you would get it. Past that, you're a great person to watch on the forums.

And, lastly, I knew someone was going to ask this question >:V. I'll leave a TL;DR at the bottom if you don't want the full story.

This pretty much all happened around November 21st of 2016. Around a month before that, score I had gotten promoted to Moderator, @TheMafias and I had a talk about the current state of Wild West. There was no Developer for it, there was only one moderator who was specific to the gamemode, and he played War (Blamo) the manager of the gamemode had multiple other duties to fulfill as a senior moderator, and, ultimately, had very little time for even reading Sheriff Applications for the gamemode.

Soon, me and randomcitizen1 were promoted to Moderator for Wild West. And, again, Mafias and I had another talk. Then, he and I had a thought. If Brawl can't bring back Wild West and make it popular, then why don't we make our own, with a whole new system, gamestyle, and everything? It wouldn't be copying Brawl. Sure, some features were the same, but it's not like that didn't happen everywhere else. Plus, those features worked differently.

Eventually we started making Google Docs for the whole thing. Plans, code values, design, etc. Eventually we picked up another Wild West player who had already made a practice server as a coder for us. He's perm banned now, because of either us or his server.

He started coding. I talked to some other moderators to figure out if they wanted to help. Mostly it was a no, because if they were caught, they would probably get instantly demoted. There were three people at the center of the whole thing. Me, Mafias, and someone who will remain nameless. I don't want to reveal names because of multiple circumstances, which will be told later.

Eventually, I was talking to Mafias over a private Slack. That way, any private discussions couldn't be looked at by anyone we didn't want to see them. I was reading through staff Slack at the same time, and I noticed something that could possibly reveal the project and everyone involved. One of the staff team who wasn't involved had gotten ahold of the document for the server. I did a quick read through of it and checked that no names were mentioned aside from Mafias, and then locked down the link access to the document. But I was too slow. A staff member had made a copy of the entire thing.

So, I alerted Mafias right away. That was my first mistake. I told him exactly what was going on in the Slack chat, with quotes from messages. Since Mafias didn't seem to understand, I eventually sent him screenshots. That was mistake number two.

One of those screenshots caused Mafias to PM a moderator on the forums about their interest in the whole thing. The moderator reported it, and stated that Mafias could have only known about the message if someone had told him about it. So, Roke began going through Mafias' PMs on the forums. Mafias making the PM was mistake number three.

What Roke found pretty much screwed me AND Mafias over. A few days prior, I had started a conversation with Mafias and someone who could make texture packs. We wanted them to make us a texture pack for the server. I was in that conversation. Mistake number four ladies and gentlemen!

So I'm sitting there at my school laptop, working on my English assignment, and something changes on the Slack tab on Googlr Chrome. I click over to it, and note I was signed out of the staff Slack.

Wtf?

I try to log back in.

Access was denied.

Quickly glance over at the teacher to make sure she isn't looking and pull out my phone. Hop on forums. Check profile. Purple tag gone.

I think to myself, “Ah, damn. I was caught. On the bright side, it might just be a suspension and not a demotion."

Not 15 minutes later I found myself staring at a forums error message telling me I had been banned from the forums for “Mis-Using Forums."

And that, is my story.

TL;DR;
- Made a new Wild West server to satisfy the community. Names will not be given.

- Leaked info from staff chat to a regular member, which is a big no no, even if it pertains to the project.

- A note I didn't mention in the main explanation, this project has been abandoned and been given to Brawl. So everything I got demoted for now benefits them. Great. Am I angry? Somewhat. Is it anything I can control? No. Am I getting my rank back for working on this so it makes Brawl's Wild West better? Nope.
