    Hello builders!

Today I’ve created a tutorial to creating circles, ellipses, spheres, and ellipsoids larger than radius 10 (due to brawl’s limits on //cyl and //sphere) with World Edit.

    For circles and ellipses:
Change your selection mode to //sel cyl. //pos1 will be the center, and //pos2 will extend the radius of your circle or ellipse. Something worth noting with this selection is if you want a flat circle or ellipse, your second position needs to be on the same y level as the center of your shape. Otherwise, it’ll stack the selection to the y level of your second position.

If you want a perfect circle larger than r = 10, you’re going to have to create that carefully with the cylinder selection, as it doesn’t force your selection to a perfect circle.

    For spheres and ellipsoids:
Change your selection mode to //sel <sphere, ellipsoid>, depending on what shape you’re going for. Same as with the cylinder selection, //pos1 is the center, and //pos2 is the radius of your shape.

    Note:
    • For those of you who are experienced with World Edit, this tutorial is probably nothing new to you. This tutorial is aimed at those who have used World Edit before, but don’t know all the ins and outs of its commands yet.
    • Limits were put on //cyl and //sphere to prevent players from using these commands maliciously. Does this mean players can also use these different selection modes to crash build servers? Probably not, for the same reason that players can make large cuboid selections and not crash the server.
    • More information about selection modes can be found on the World Edit wiki.

I hope you found this helpful for future builds. I hope you found this helpful for future builds. If you have suggestions for tutorials I should do next, let me know!

Hello Birdgirl! Thanks for posting this very useful guide. It's out there and hopefully now I can now link players to this thread and should help them quite a bit. Good job, also it was great seeing you again!
