    For staff afking can be a bad thing. @AnonymousGalaxy told me that they usually they just untag. But some people (including me) contact untagged staff too when they need help (atleast when there is no other staff online). So my idea is that staff can do /afk. When they do /afk it will display a message eg. Eil is now afk. When someone types Eil in chat there will be a message (just for the person who wrote it) saying Eil is currently afk, contact other staff if you need help. This could be an idea for normal people or VIP+ aswell only that it won't display in chat when they do /afk because then they could spam chat with those messages.

    It'd honestly just be easier if they logged out when they aren't on. If they aren't responding to you, use /support (message).

    Afking at a xp farm would not be possible for staff then.

    /support is kinda annoying since it takes the staff around 0-10 min to join.

    The original problems with commands like /afk were that players would abuse it, and chat would constantly be filled with 'Player went afk' and 'player went unafk', or tab constantly changing with afk tags. However if staff were the only people to have access I think its quite a good idea (since it wouldn't be abused). I often go afk in-game for a few minutes at a time just to check forums, reports, slack etc.

    Personally I am in favour if this being added.

    This should be added, in my opinion. As well as this, players should get access to /sl (gives a list of staff) and the ability to message staff, so they can get help if they need it. The staff list would show if a staff member was afk or not.

    They can currently turn off their tag which implies the same thing.

    Not really, I see many staff members with tag normal who are active in chat.

    In my opinion it would be better to have a command to put 'AFK' tag before the players name in tab. Just like some staff have, for example, the 'Priest' tag.

    Example: JMOD Priest Algelier --> /afk --> JMOD AFK Algelier

    Didn't think of that. Perhaps staff don't show up there if they're in vanish, so any mod actually moderating and not just playing doesn't show up?
    Daniellll's post was in response to mine, where I suggested they should.
