    First off, sorry @Rhoske for beating you to creating this thread. Now for its purpose, in you thread Medieval Build Contest Results and... MORE changes?!, you stated (and I'm still talking about @Rhoske here) that you wanted our ideas, and that is what this thread is for.
    To respond, just comment stating what build competition theme you want to have (whether its a building type, era, or gamemode map).
    Update: Please do not be too general with your idea. (Ex. Space (space what, ship, station, plant, moon?) That is why the medieval contest was not as popular, because midieval what?))

    I'll start with the themes: Stadium and Spaceship.

    • giant trees (may or may not have houses in them)

    • sky islands
    • urban living (modern cities - not futuristic or medieval)
    • fantasy
    • CTF maps
    • kitbrawl arena
    May update as more ideas come to mind

    • water themed city/temple
    • deserted city
    • train station
    • roman architecture
    • aztec architecture
    • egyptian architecture

    I don't agree with redstone due to this being about good looking builds and not good working redstone.

    Yeah, now that I think about it, it's not a good idea, redstone is not really a "build"
