    COMBAT LOGGERS
    Have you ever been on Kit Pvp, and decided to go on FFA? Now, let's say you run into a person. Player X attacks you and make you use 7/8 of your soups, you are able to bring him down to no soups and 3 hearts. He suddenly starts running, and you chase afterwards. First, you run for about 1 minute while he regens health. After that, he tries to fight you again but this time after the trade off, he runs again, but goes someone where no one is looking, and types in /hub, /lobby, or just logs off. Now trust me, it isn't rare to find someone doing this. But also, it's not as common. Most of the time people queue up in a match before going out to FFA.
    MY SOLUTION: I am thinking about making the suggestion of disallowing certain commands during combat. Other servers have done this, maybe we should add a pvp timer. Lets make it a 10 second pvp timer. (Could be less or more) For starters, we should disallow the use of commands that help you go back to the hub or lobby. While you are in this pvp timer, you cannot use /hub or /lobby. Also, /play would be disabled. Since you can basically do /play ctf or /play kitpvp to instantly teleport. But then again, this pvp timer wouldn't solve anything since the person can run it off. So, adding something like a villager after someone logs in combat, or /hub's would be a good idea. A combat logger basically, so while you are in the arena, only way to actually leave without triggering the combat logger would actually be to /spawn. This would not just be helpful, but it would also help people conserve their killstreaks. Some people just log off and their killstreaks dont get saved. Also, because people combat log, the person who spent their time fighting the combat logger also get nothing in return. So, if the system detects that you logged, the combat logger would be a good addition to helping this issue.

    Combat logger is what I personally like. Would force players to wait the time for /spawn before being able to leave.

    The best ideas I have to combat this, would have to be:

    - Whenever someone logs, they are instantly credited with a death, and their killstreak is broken. Players will then receive the assist, and have it display in their chat as it normally would, as if getting a regular assist, on a regular kill. Then on top of that, whoever did the most % of damage to the person that logs, would get credited with the kill.

    Let me know what you think of this, and how it could be tweaked and / or changed.
    Combat loggers may be a more 'easy-to-implement' feature, but I personally am not the biggest fan of having combat loggers in the arena. They just don't seem to "fit" into the gamemode in my opinion.

    Honestly, I really like your alternate idea. I also do agree with the combat loggers in the arena thing, they somewhat wouldn't fit. I am all for the alternative, but both idea's seem to work. So either way would be fine, but the one you put would work better seeing how it would fit more into Kit Brawl.

    If the player manages to get away (stops being chased) and then logs off, they shouldn't be automatically killed. They escaped and giving them a death is just stupid. At least make something so that they can still be killed but can still log off safely is not attacked.

    They can always do /spawn, but I guess a cooldown would be fair. Also, logging out no matter what kills you as of now in the game, so it's always best to do /spawn regardless.

    Most don't even know that exists. Some don't want to wait either. You can leave without using /spawn and still keep your ks from my experience.

    Simple solution:

    If one logs, his/her killstreak will be lost, a death will be added to his/her stats and the players who had hit him/her will receive the kill just like now (by %).

    For those who didn't know a player already looses his killstreak and gets a death if s/he logs. (Not 100% sure about the death part, but I remember getting a death after crashing due to lag.

    It works fine. Just a few weeks ago lost a 100+ks because the server randomly restarted mid-game.

    Crashing would cause a lot of deaths to people RIP but, would be good to have something to stop it.
