Add Back Custom Titles for Non-Donors

    'Nuff said, they were a cool part of the forums that personalized users past their names/avatars and I don't think anyone really buys a rank for the title. Sure, it's a bonus, but there are already other incentives for people to buy ranks.

    -1 if you remove a bonus you might not think it changes much, but it does remove a factor when someone thinks about buying donator, "oh, thats for everyone? I dont have to buy it then, actually why should I buy it??"

    What sane person would buy a lifetime rank for the sole purpose of a forums tag

    No one would buy it for the sole purpose of a forums tag, but no one would buy it only for the harvesting thing on wild west, the processing thing or even tping. With your logic all these benefits on wild west could be removed, as no one would buy a rank for only one of them.

    I don't think we're on the same page here.

    I doubt anyone would regret buying a rank if forums titles were added. I don't even think everyone who buys a rank goes on the forums. Maybe a poll could be put in place to see what the players who have lifetime ranks think.

    Let's say we have two versions of ELITE. One has all the cosmetics (pets, horse name & appearance changes, forums tag, effects, even name prefixes) versus, say, just having harvesting boost. A smart person would pay money for the rank that would help them maximize their time, and not have to spend it harvesting. Horse names, appearance, a forum tag, sure, they may be cool, but they don't overall help you in any major way.

    -1, not until ranks are updated. I don't like how its a donator-only thing, but until we have ranks that are worth buying, we need to offer whatever we can. When/if ranks become worth buying again, this'd be a nice thing to see.

    But if it hurts normal players more than it incentivizes donators, what is the point of having it as a donator only feature?

    What's the point in having a rank which hardly does anything? Sure, changing this feature alone won't make ranks much worse. But, if we change things with this logic - why not allow all ranks to have GIFs as their avatars? Why not allow all ranks to invite more people in a PM? I know that's not what you're suggesting, but the logic behind these suggestions are the same and, in my opinion, flawed.

    How does it actually hurt you though? You're upset about it because you don't have a rank, but you don't want to buy a rank for just that. This might may you more easily persuaded when you're ingame saying, "wow it's taking a long time to gain coins. If I had a rank this would be so much easier. Oh hey. If I get a rank I can also do cool stuff on the forums!"

    Nobody would spend $120 or whatever on a title, I want to have a feature that has been around for longer than 90% of this server to be back as it was.
    Because those features were never features for non-donators as well.

    Don't get me wrong. I see where you're coming from, but keep in mind; Brawl will be going EULA friendly. That's been the plan all along and it is happening whether we like it or not. Getting rid of an easily profitable addition to a rank which will eventually have to become EULA friendly is financially hurtful.

    How do we know that it's financially hurtful if we don't know how many people will actually buy it for a custom title...
