Now I know there's hundreds of tutorials on youtube which explain the process of jittering, however I feel that they are not very explanatory and are not easy to understand. This guide should serve as a means to actually explain how to jitter.

DISCLAIMER: This isn't a guide teaching you how to jitter and pvp, it's simply how to learn how to rapidly click. It's the best I could explain it to newbies who are unsure on how to do it, seeing as I did this technique myself.

    Part 1: Arm strength

What you should notice when you watch jitterclicking tutorials is that nearly every single person giving the tutorial is either skinny or quite "buffed" in arm strength. That being said, it makes a big difference in being able to get some finger/hand strength (since it's kind of easier than the alternative, which is to lose weight to the point of being bony/skinny af) in order to try jitter clicking.

A typically useful finger strength excersize would be finger pressups. If you don't really do these types of pressups, attempting to do one will make your fingers start shaking uncontrollably. That kind of "shaking" is the type used for jitterclicking. If you're failing to do full press ups, try doing the female pressups where you press up just your chest , like so , only difference being is that you press up with just the tip of your fingers.

    Part 2: Jittering

Now, most people approach the term to jitter as "shaking your arm rapidly" which is not exactly the truth. Shaking your arm as fast as you can doesn't promise the most efficient cps nor the most stable aim you can deliver, tensing however does. It's the tensing that makes arm/hand/finger strength from above particularly useful. The stronger you tense the faster you click.

But Lewka, how do you tense without it interrupting your clicking? That is where practise makes perfect comes into play. For me the easiest way to explain jittering is this way: Find a jittering technique grip which you find would be comfortable eg; the claw. Tense your forearm, untense and try to move the tense down into your hand. Usually the veins in your hand might increase in size because they'll have more blood flowing through them through the fast repetitive movement. Another option is the reverse technique of the above. Start clicking as fast as you can, then tense your forearm and try to bring the tense into your hand as well, then relaxing the tense on your forearm. Now usually in the beginning, your hand might only manage for a couple of seconds at most. However, practising it everyday increases the duration of how long you can jitter for. I usually kept spam clicking non stop (still do now in fact) in order to increase my "jitter endurance".

In the end, think of jittering as increasing your finger and hand strength. Although I'm left handed, my right hand is much stronger than my left hand. If you suddenly start jittering and take a break from clicking for a few weeks you'd notice your CPS is (due to the tiny muscles in your finger shrinking due to inactivity meaning you won't have them moving as rapidly as they did before).

Re; claims that jitter clicking causes diseases like athritis: myth. Jittering can, not will ,cause carpal tunnelling, which can be cured. No long term damages are really suffered from jittering.

Also might want to add this method might increase the risk of getting RSI, so beware

Abusing your arms, hands and fingers for a long time can bring problems such as the CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and it is true and not a myth. It's not a thing you should worry about though it gives an unpleasant feel on your arm. It is also cureable as you stated above.
I would suggest using the butterfly clicking technique (the use of the middle and the index fingers by switching rapidly and clicking).

I didn't say anything different, I just stated that jittering can result to that and what happens if you get it.

Oh, just saw. I didn't read that part.
Still gave my opinion about jittering and suggested using the butterfly clicking technique though.

I'm actually pretty certain that butterfly-clicking is faster and better as it is easier and has no ill effects whatsoever.
Doesn't concern me since I mouseabuse but I butterfly now and again.

I may have not grasped this as much as I would have liked to but I can't aim when I jitter or soup when I butterfly. xD
I have to just click regular.

Practice. I've learned to PvP while butterfly clicking after doing it for like 2 years.

butterfly clicking can damage ur mouse faster plus it can only rly work if u have a decently sized mouse xd
in my case having big fingers and a medium sized mouse makes it impossible to keep two fingers on 1 mouse button xd

both have their pros and cons, butterfly clicking is easier to learn tho, hence why I bothered to make a thread explaining the jist of jittering as well as I could

Another suggestion of mine is when you start getting it down play Gapple so you don't have to watch your health nearly as much and you can practice your aim and endurance while jittering. Also all of those diseases and injury's are highly unlikely no one that I have heard of in the Minecraft community has had a problem due to jitter clicking. But anyways like I stated play Gapple to practice aim it helped me a lot back when I was first learning! -ofq

This doesn't really have to do with jittering, but i'd like to make a quick suggestion. When most newbies try to jitter, they have there sensitivity to high. When jittering, your sensitivity should be fairly low. (At least thats my opinion, cause it gets easier to aim)

Ya but butterfly clicking doesn't sound cool. Like butterfly clicking sounds awkward and funky. Jittering sounds like a machine gun,
