Base Defence System

    So as everyone knows people camp at wg and proc. I have come up with a way that will make bases harder to camp and harder to get in.

    To stop people from camping in full d there could be a Defense System for bases. To make it harder for experienced players there should be Real Cannons that npcs will man. Then at the proc there will be an npc guard with a carc that will constantly move around. Think of the npcs as smarter Indians. Wg base will be the hardest to get into. The more the drug costs the harder it is to get into the base. The drugs that are cheap will have minimized security. To make it easier to get into for new players, the base can detect when the first time they joined was. If it was over a month that they joined, the security will be minimized a little. This idea will make bases harder to get into while making it still pretty easy for new players. It will take a lot of coding, I understand.

    An Indian-like system has been suggested for Rebel bases, but in my opinion this would make it nigh on impossible for sheriffs to sneak into bases, due to the fact cannonfire and NPCs would go off on them every time they came near. This would just lead to more Sheriff/bandit bickering.

    Agreed with glock.

    As well, I don't see much of a problem with players camping rebel bases, as this is the best way to make money. Plus, adding this would partially take away pvp aspects for players (especially bandits), because they would be more focused on fighting the npc's compared to other players.

    Only defending wild grass will turn people against it. They'll all just move to Coco or something

    Coco is also defended just not as much as WG. You guys are skilled you can get through 4-5 npcs with carcs.

    It would still cause issues because bandits would claim to be offset when they're trying to heal or the fight is even, and the NPCs offset it.

    Yes!

    The npcs will only spawn very 5-15 minutes...

    Another reason of noobs and oldies complaining about sheriffs being overpowered... also, this wouldn't make any sense, even if its a game just think about it? Rebels letting sheriffs inside their rebel bases? mmhh No. This also would make Cuff wars impossible to fight as Glock stated above.

    Even so, using logic, they wouldn't be truced with sheriffs, and if they built up over time there would just be this massive horde that would be impossible to kill.

    Quoting this because you both have to see this. May sound like flame but suck it up.

    You are just being biased towards sheriffs and trying to give them benefits. It could be with good intentions and a legitimate effort to make the usual fights where there isn't a 3:1 ratio of bandits to sheriffs, but if you add too many variables (I:E buffed armor/guns, NPC allies, free potions, etc) you are just adding too many factors that can shape the outcome, and soon it becomes impossible to predict or decide if a fight is fair or not, (Since, apparently, when sheriffs are outnumbered, they complain about unfair fights, and when bandits are outnumbered, they weigh the skill of the sheriffs and the gear they keep coming in (extra potions, obvious Kevlar) and decide to flee or fight, more often flee or die) and soon you have an issue you can't fix because you don't know what to fix.

    How so? If you go to the Indian camps where people have been running around without killing the Indians, there's a hell of a lot more than there should be.
