No, I only speak fluent English. I have had lessons in French and German but I dropped them as I didn’t find an interest.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? –
Well, where do I start… I’ve been here at Brawl since 14th of February 2014. I’ve enjoyed pretty much my entire time here and have been through a lot as you all know. Throughout my 2014 year the server I mainly played was Survival PvP and I thoroughly enjoyed the 1.7 map and went for the staff position a couple of times, I also from time to time played fps-HG with some friends which got me introduced to Guns in Minecraft. Near the end of 2014 I was introduced to WarZ which is where it all really started for me here at Brawl. My 2015 year at Brawl was the year I got to join the staff team which consisted of Survival PvP’s 1.8 map and a heavy amount of WarZ which overtime became my favourite game mode on the network. At the end of this year I was finally promoted to Moderator for WarZ which was a dream come true to me. My 2016 year at brawl was the year I moderated WarZ as it was at the time my favourite game and to be honest I found being staff really fun as you could reach out to the community with a voice.

WarZ has been something I have enjoyed now for the past 2.5 years which is why I applied to staff the server back on June 20th 2015. I stayed JMOD on WarZ for a decent amount of time as it was already being staffed well by Mario and Poaches. However, their times came and they decided to leave with Mario staying on to code WarZ and new upcoming servers, so Cloudy and I were then Promoted to WarZ Mods back in December 2015.

Becoming Moderator was a very big thing for me as it was something I had been working towards for over a year and I had finally got it. The responsibility was huge and it felt great to finally be in power and have a voice of what happened over the server. I moderated WarZ after that for another 9 months and to be honest enjoyed every minute of it as the community was great (even if people say the warz community is or was the worst). I was sadly demoted/forced to resign on August 7th 2016 which was a shock to me at the time but looking back on it now I can see why. The main reason was because I had teamed with a perm banned player at the time known as AppleSoftware who was playing on the account AxXxA. After my demotion I really didn’t know what to do here at Brawl and as I was in the making of my first montage I stayed around to finish getting my clips and then played until mid-November and decided to leave for good.

Through the 4 months I was gone I landed a job in retail as a Cashier which I am still in and I enjoy as the pay is good . I still played PC games with CS:GO being the main one which I played with IRL friends over the time period. I also started going to the gym and got a lot more active which has led to me losing a decent amount of weight and I am now where I want to be. I did enjoy my time away but with this server consuming 3 years of my life and me enjoying it you can’t just put that behind you so I came back at the end of this March bought a rank on WarZ and decided to start playing again. To be honest I did only plan on coming back for 1 month as I had spring break but that changed when I started enjoying the server like I used to and the player base has grown in all honesty over the months I wasn’t there. I have now bought another rank for WarZ and don’t see myself leaving any time soon with summer just around the corner.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? –
I’ve moderated multiple different servers whilst playing Minecraft over the recent years. One obviously being brawl which I have just talked a lot about in the previous question. I became admin on a HCF server called FrostHCF shortly after I left brawl for about a month which was very fun as the staff team was me and a bunch of friends. The server averaged about 300 people at SOTW which was extremely fun and a big job to take on. Another being a WarZ practice server ‘M4Play’ which I staffed at the start 0f 2015 to gain experience of moderating to then come to WarZ and moderate that.

I am also moderating M4Play as of now just to get back into the swing of things, if I were to get the position here at Brawl I would of course resign on m4 due to the rule of moderating a practice server that uses Brawl’s builds.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? –
Well to be honest it’s something I’ve always wanted to do here at Brawl which is why I have gone for it in the past many times and actually gone on to do it. It’s mainly because I want to be the change in the community and voice things that people want to the higher ups. I enjoy being a help in hand in game as I know what I am talking about which of course helps. In all honesty, just to sum it up I really enjoyed taking on the power when I was staff and seeing the rewards that come from helping a good community. So why wouldn’t I want to become moderator?

Have you ever used a hacked client before? –
Yeah I used one back in 2014 and got banned on Survival PvP and the network for Kill-Aura so bought an unban and immediately stopped as I knew I was in the wrong. Since then I have never had a hacked client downloaded and haven't been banned from any other servers.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? –
Well I have various temp-bans back in 2014 here at Brawl and the ones after that are all from when I was a staff member and aren’t legit. Past the “ok” temp-ban are where they are legit, I got ride-alonged for Gold_Dinosaur which was false so I was immediately unbanned, I got temp-banned for boat gliching which in my defense was an entire accident but also my fault and the Autoban after that was unbanned which was recent. The only recent mute I have had was for “Flame” mute which I don’t even remember so was most likely through a chat report so I can’t say anything about it apart from it was over 5 months ago now. (The flood one before that was me accidentally muting myself) and the other mutes were unmuted or me testing as a mod. So my history at Brawl is very clean apart from a slip up last October and mid 2014 where I was very immature.

What do you consider your greatest strength? –
My greatest strength has recently come to me through getting a job in real life where you have to work with people and serve the public which is my confidence. I am more confident in myself than I ever have been now and to be honest it feels great.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? –
My greatest weakness would be getting attached to things and when they are taken away it can affect me negatively which can make me deal with things differently. Here at Brawl my biggest fear as a staff member was losing the position because of how much it meant to me, which lead me to being annoying towards the end of my time as staff and at most times toward I was an annoyance towards coders and higher ups, and when I then lost the position after I was upset and in a way ‘salty’. Honestly whatever I have said to any staff member in the months after my demotion I do apologize for as it wasn’t needed and I wouldn’t say it now as I realize my mistakes, I hope you see this and don’t feel as if I still would because I really wouldn’t. Mc-WarZ with a bit of War and Raid.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? –
In 2014 I made 4 applications where I had absolutely no chance due to my maturity being bad and my applications were just straight up poor in general. 2015 I made 2 good applications which were denied and then my 7th one got accepted which was my last one to this day. So this will be my 8th application for Brawl.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? –
June 20th 2015 which was for WarZ and accepted.

Do you have TeamSpeak?
Yeah, even when I quit I still hopped on TeamSpeak under the identity ‘Jack’ all the time. I'm on almost every day and whenever my computer is on I'm connected as its just the norm to me now. I hang out in public and private channels, wherever the party is really .

Anything else you would like to state? –
I have a part-time job which is on a flexible contract so I could be at work whenever. I am currently doing my A-levels in an English College (Yes, the schooling system is different in the UK) but it’s called college which is the equivalent to grade 11 in the US. I am studying Math, Physics and Geography. I have my AS Exam in Math coming up and my finals are next year in summer which will be in Math, Physics and Geography.
