My name is Dr. Mayhem (@Glock_Fanatic) and this is my story.......

My day started out like any other. I woke up 4:45 am and stumbled to my library.

I then teleported to the middle of the desert and did some shooting practice before heading in to work.

Everyday for the last several years, I have woken up and teleported to some remote location on earth for target shooting.

I am one of the smartest people on the planet........I also happen to be a retired Super Villain.

After my morning target shooting in the Ténéré desert region in the south central Sahara, I teleported back home to get ready for work.

Today, seemed to be just another day. I walked in to campus like usual. Ah, spring is in the air and nothing is more fun than teaching physics.

Ordered a cup of “joe”, black like usual, and noticed today’s headline.

The headline read, “China already has the world's fastest supercomputer and now has a quantum computer.”

I snagged the newspaper and my coffee.

Walked on to campus and made my way to my office.

The article read, a team of Chinese scientists has built the world’s first quantum computer. The machine is 25,000 times faster than its counterparts and contemporary computers.

I smiled to myself, they forgot to mention that the Chinese had some help. Which they paid 20 million for.

Sure they now have quantum computing. It’s a crude machine. I took a simple approach and used an alternative method so they could advertise a “unique” breakthrough. A happy customer is a future paying customer I always say.

I used multiple photons, for the crude quantum computer.

Think of it as five photons working together in concert. Quantum computers are different than modern computers that use ones and zeroes.

Quantum computers use qubits aka quantum bits. What makes them unique is that they can hold a one and zero number simultaneously.

This allows qubits to perform more calculations simultaneously.

Not bad for two weeks’ worth of work.

I was a child prodigy growing up and I continued that way through college. I graduated from high school at age 14.

While my peers were off drinking in college, I was working on my doctorate in quantum physics and computing.

Out of college I had many opportunities from labs, science departments, and universities.

The company that stood out was a small innovations think tank from New York.

The CEO had written me a personal note and invited me to visit his company.

This was different and I took him up on his offer. He was interested in developing quantum computers to speed up trades made through the stock market.

It was a truly innovative idea and one that was so distinctively different than the others I received.

After a short flight I arrived in NY. The company had sent the CEO’s personal bodyguard @DarkTitan_ to pick me up. He was a nice fellow.

Carried himself like a professional soldier rather than a bodyguard. His wrap around shades, neatly trimmed beard, and GQ look didn’t stop the fact that he could probably break my neck in less than 2 minutes.

We made small talk as we drove to the company headquarters. He was a nice enough guy.

I finally met the CEO @MR_EVIL_OVERLORD . He was a very young guy named Max.

Meeting him changed my life. I had finally met a peer or someone who understood.

He gave me a tour of his company and showed me all the great work his firm was doing in innovation.

Suffice to say, he had an army of nerds. I was enthralled. Finally, I was with my kind of people.

Max was a Super Genius in his own right. His work with Nano-Technology was light years ahead of most universities and research centers.

Through the years I have become a rather skilled hand to hand combatant. I use a variety of techniques and tools depending on the need.

My early experiences with quantum physics led me to developing an experiment that changed my life. I have the unique ability of molecular manipulation.

In laymen’s terms I can shrink or grow my size as well as controlling my density. My strength levels can be increased regardless of my size. It is one of my unique gifts as a result of my failed science experiment.

I also created a teleportation device, among other things.

Evil pulled the team back together to save "Fireball, collect a zombie specimen, and locate the source of the virus.

The “team” was composed of five amazing Super Villains. We had been colleagues for years before we retired.

I have to admit, I missed the action and adventure. Nothing is exciting as being an adventurer.

Our objectives: rescue his wife Fireball, study the disease, and develop a cure for the US Government.

Working together we all managed to obtain our own fortunes.

After a life time of achievement, Evil then fell in love with one of the more unlikely people.

He fell in love with a Super Hero from California by the name of Fireball.

I have known the team a very, very long time.

Fireballs absence was noticeable after the attack that turned many people into psychotics. She was one of the premier heroines on the team known as the Guardians.

We began our search. Evil was hacking traffic cameras and I had managed to hack a French weather satellite.

The satellites had no trouble picking up her unique heat signature. Her pyrotechnic mutation allowed her to generate flame and fly.

We had two unique problem sets.

Problem number one, the building she was in happened to be surrounded by zombies.

Problem number two, the building she was in was a school and the kids were still in it.

The five of us formed a team and we became Professional Super Villains.

Remember the bodyguard? He was now my good friend Dark Titan. He was the professional soldier of the bunch. I observed him absorbing the information. I made the literal observation that she was “in a school…..which I followed up with how many kids are with her?”

Based on the population demographics, I estimated 410 students could be at the school and I pondered ten different ideas for extracting them.

Within seconds I had 41 different viable options to rescue the kids trapped in the school.

I am after all a super genius.

No one said we had to rescue the kids, nor was it implied by our military liaison.

However, this is our encore career.

We were officially the "good guys" now.

Evil did a quick search and determined that there could be as many as 420 kids in the school.

I facilitated the rescue plan ideas along with Evil. We narrowed down the idea and developed contingencies. Dark Titan provided the military perspective as usual.

The laws of physics does not fundamentally forbid the teleportation of large objects……

While working for Evil on a matter transference machine I developed a unique skill set.

So what if I blew up the lab?

The ability to control my size and density made it worth it. Quantum teleportation isn’t as easy as it sounds even for a super genius.

I figured out how to send “secure” communications by developing a quantum version of the internet.

Originally, I started with teleporting atoms, then communications, fruit, animals, and then me.

The infected were running amok overtaking the civilian population, killing them.

The Zeus drop ship circled around the school, Evil was looking for a great place to land.

Spectre @RockTomb was getting amped. He was the fastest man alive.

He gripped the baton made of indestructible Evil-ium.

His black uniform, with red highlights and partial mask screamed malevolent behavior.

I looked down at my watch and pointed toward it so he could see.

Laughing, he gave me a thumbs up.

We descended, to a logical landing spot. The infected were everywhere around the school.

Evil put the drop ship down with a gentle landing.

I felt a breeze as Spectre ran past me at super speed.

Like the old days, I started my timer.

3.25 seconds later I felt the whoosh going back into the drop ship.

I looked up to see the Spectre sitting in his seat with his legs up.

Without looking up, I said sorry old friend you are slower.

We both laughed.

My gaze shifted to outside the drop ship.

Within 3.25 seconds the Spectre had killed 57 zombies with his Evil-ium indestructible baton and his super speed.

The bloody masses of dead zombies lay all around the perimeter of the school.

He was as badass as always.

I got out of my jump seat and grabbed my Rail Gun and walked into the school.

Time to make an entrance, these kids would never forget.

Their rescue party was here.
