    Kit Brawl Rule Updates
Hello Kit Brawlers! Today I'm here to announce to you that a few new rules will be in place starting next Friday, June 2nd! These rules are being put in place to create a better playing experience, and to give newer players an easier time while playing. We received many requests for these rules to be put in place, and now that they have been, we hope that fighting in the FFA arenas is a more enjoyable experience.

The new rules are as follows, and will start to be enforced with punishments starting next Friday, June 2nd.
    1. Teaming in FFA is now punishable.

Excessive teaming will now be punishable, for up to a 20 minute temporary ban. Both players that team up on someone will receive a punishment. However, if you are someone that is continuously breaking this rule though, you are at risk of receiving stricter, and longer punishments.

What is considered teaming though? If you are explicitly ganging up on, or you are targeting a player with a teammate of yours, you are likely to be punished for this rule.
However, we will allow truces to some degree. You can choose to have a truce which is a player you choose not to attack. We will not punish for simply not attacking someone, however if you then take it to 2v1ing someone with that truce, you cross the line at which is acceptable, and you are likely to be punished.

    2. Logging out whilst in the middle of a fight in FFA is now punishable.

Logging out mid-fight in the FFA arena is now punishable, for up to a 20 minute temporary ban. However, if you are someone that is continuously breaking this rule though, you are at risk of receiving stricter, and longer punishments.

If you see someone that is violating these rules make sure to /report them, and/or record them logging and submit proof at https://www.brawl.com/report/.

Be sure to follow these rules to avoid any type of punishment!

    @Bladel enjoy getting banned ;D

Logging rule is good however teaming rule is going to be hard to enforce.

Yes, you can choose to not attack players and/or just chill in mid with them. However, if you take that truce to the next level, where you and the person (people) are actually ganging up on people, that's when it becomes punishable.

This is going to be much harder to discipline for. However, staff members have access to /kbwho, and /spectate to see if the player is still on the server and if so, in a match.

If you plan to report someone on the website, via a recording of them logging, try to get proof that we can 100% know that they logged from. If there is any chance that they could have joined a match, we cannot punish for it. However, if in your report you catch them logging mid fights multiple times and it is obvious what they are doing, then we can punish them for it.

I think the first update was need for players that have just started, however I disagree on the second one. Some people have legit reasons for logging out in the FAA fights, doing /spawn takes ages and you should reduce it to 3 seconds if you have added this rule.

First of all, /spawn does take 3 seconds.
That being said, you are still permitted to /spawn in the arena. You just cannot disconnect, use /hub, etc. to escape dying.

Also, would you mind explaining what you mean by legit reasons to leave the FFA?

You can use /spawn if you wish to save a killstreak, otherwise, I would recommend you either let someone kill you, or plan better to accomodate for your work schedule.
If you log while in combat though, just know that if a staff member sees it, you may be punished.

These rules sound great, but differentiating between a 1v1v1 and a 2v1 can be hard.

If there is any doubt whether people are teaming or not, no punishment will be given.
