This is actually the forums of McBrawl Factions, but whatever :V

 

I would say extinction, buy i know how hard that would be to code :S

 

First of all make sure you sit comfy so i can explain it all.
Extinction is a new gamemode presented in cod ghosts. You can be 1 - 4 players and your goal is to survive through a big map, destroy the hives along the way arm a nuke and then rush back FAST. But along the way there is some creepy bastards aka aliens trying to protect the hives for some reason. And also in the beginning you get a drill which you use to destroy the hives and the aliens will try to destroy it. Every hit from an alien will remove 1% from its health and when its down to 70% it will have to be repaired. If it goes down to 0% you lose. But the big hives you have to call in a heli to shoot it down. When the big hive comes alien scorpions come and the can shoot the heli. They can also shoot poison on the ground that you take damage from.You can do small damage by shooting the hive too. And for every hive you destroy you earn a skill point. Skill points can be used for upgrades such as: Better handgun / upgrade your speciality / upgrade your killstreak for example IMS / upgrade your ammo or special ammo / upgrade your manned turrets / your team supplies.
And for every hive there is a challenge, for example do not take any damage from aliens before the hive is destroyed or kill 15 aliens with traps.
Thats right traps exist, but only 2 different ones : The fire trap and the electric fence.
I think it costs 600 $ to activate them but im not sure.
You can get money in a few different ways: Get 60 $ by killing a alien, get 3000 after destroying the big hive, and also traps can earn you money back if you have the engineer speciality on and upgrade it enough. You can only have up to 6000 $ If you have that ou wont earn any money unless you spend some. Another kewl feature is that there is small boxes around the map that you can search and get the following: Money, Ammo, special ammo, hypno knife, flare, attatchements, claymores, SOFLAM and semtexes.
The SOFLAM is a badass goggle rocket launcher thingy.The flare is a tactical that you can throw that attracts aliens. It explodes after a few seconds. The hypno knife is a throwing knife that you hrow at aliens to make them friendly and fight the other aliens for you, but you canonly get one and if you miss ou are screwes.
There are some minigun turrets around the hive that ou can pay 750$ to use but they have infinite ammo which is good.
You can get loads of guns that are scattered around the map, everything from a chain saw to a silenced sniper, but you can only have a single primary because ou cant exchange your pistol. But if you upgrade your pistol enough you can have 2 primaries and your pistol.
Before you start you can change your loadout. You can change between 2 different single shot pistols, a 3 round burst pistol and a full auto one.
You can chabge your speciality between the following: Tank that will upgrade your health and your melee damage, weapon specialist will give you perks such as sleight of hand and quickdraw, medic that will heal team mates faster even at long range and increase your movement speed, and las but not least engineer that will repair the drill faster, set up stronger traps cheaper and earn money back from it.
You can change your team supplies between the following: Ballistic vests ( armor ) feral instincts thats pretty much red bull, and team explosives thats pretty much nades, rocket ammo and claymores. Then there is random supplies that is what it sounds like.
You can change your ammo type between the following: Ammo, explosive ammo, stun ammo, flaming ammo and incenrary
something ammo.
The normal ammo gives you the most amountof bullets but its the weakest, the incenerary ammo does more damage and the other ones are what the sound like.
And then you can change your turret / badass gun.
You can change between : A minigun turret with 300 bullets, a nade turret with 10 nades, a m32 nade launcher with 6 nades or the beast minigun with 100 bullets.
And last but not least you can change your killstreaks between: IMS ( a mine with 4 chambers, can be upgraded for more), the mortar strike ( just like a airstrike, and a sentry gun ( a minigun that dosent need to be controlled, and the vulture that is a flying sentry gun. WOW this took some time, but i hope this answered all of your questions about extinction. Thanks for reading.

Why would you do that? It wasn't popular at all.

 

I liked the concept, if it had been a bit more developed it could have been perfect

 

I am brainstorming a server right now that is similar to party, but not exactly. Basically, it is Party but with games that are bigger (so not mini games), but are not big enough to have it's own server. I have some retro games included. IT still has A LOT of work to left to release to the public. I am not even sure if it is worth posting at this point really.
