    So I'm currently buying the parts for my new PC (HYPE HYPE HYPE), but...do I need anything else?

    You could get a slightly better 7700k with the z270 or save and get a z170 for the 6700k

    Take a look at the features from each of the boards, and see if you need stuff such as usb-c.

    What is the purpose for your new PC? Like are you going to buy it for gaming? If so, is it light, medium or heavy gaming as in what games are you going to be running?

    Far Cry 5, MC w/ 256x packs + shaders, Battlefront II maybe, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, Smite, some more high-intensity games maybe

    Do you have at least a 120+hz 1080p or a 1440p monitor? If you have a regular 1080p/60hz you should either upgrade your monitor or get an i5/1060 because your setup would be overkill.

    Depends what you are going to use the computer for. Window operative system tracks you a lot more and kind of spy on you.
    If you are a potensial TOR user this is not recommended. Or if you are into either ethical or black hacking.
    Linux is less complex, worse for gaming in my opinion, however is more secure and dont spy on you. At least not as much.

    So yes, you can use a flipping keyboard on linux
